When I'm overwhelmed, most of the time my first instinct is to just be hard on myself (working on it but I HATE than anxiety makes the dumbest things overwhelming and it's frustrating!). But being hard on myself never helps. Here are some thing that do.

10pm update: Our teams have been working tirelessly across the city and attended 52 jobs so far. They are continuing to respond to issues caused by the floods.

The sheer volume of rainfall in such a short space of time overwhelmed the drainage systems, and the impact has been seen across the county.

If you do need to travel, please be careful and check for any restrictions.

Don’t let your old pumpkins come back to haunt our wildlife! 👻

After Halloween, please don’t leave pumpkins in parks, woodlands or nature reserves.

It might seem harmless, but it’s a real nightmare for animals like hedgehogs – pumpkins can make them very ill. Decorations and tealights can cause serious harm if eaten 🎃

Instead, try these easy ideas:
✅ Make a tasty soup or stew
✅ Compost at home
✅ Use your garden waste bin
