❤️ We have been so busy this week with learning moments and engaging activities to commemorate Remembrance Day.

🥀 Our children have created the most beautiful poppy wreath's that we could lay at our local Cenotaph.

❤️ We have enjoyed conversations about the monument; the surrounding garlands of poppies and the statue of a soldier.

✨️ These learning moments are meaningful and memorable to our children.

Our younger children have been very creative this week using various mark making tools to create beautiful, colourful pictures. We have been learning all about Diwali the ‘Festival of Lights 🎆 We think you will agree that we could be developing the next Picasso here at Fenton Kindergarten. As we continue to develop our love for learning, during the month of September, what better way to learn about it than developing our topical text of The Colour Monster 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵.

We have been discussing our feelings and representing these with the colours of The Colour Monster to help our little ones explain and express their own emotions. Emotions play a huge role in our everyday journey and this has a big impact on our personal, social and emotional development. Which is a key prime area of development for our little ones!

Wow, what a busy September we’re having here at Fenton Kindergarten 🤩.
The new academic year has seen us welcome new friends & families into our nursery setting, lots of learning & exploring throughout our topics of ‘All About Me’ and not forgetting a drastic change in weather ☔️!
But here at Fenton Kindergarten, we don’t let the rain stop us….in fact, we have even more fun 😍! Wellies to the ready & off we go on a splashing adventure using our physical skills to jump with 2 feet and making the biggest splash 💦.

What a fantastic end to our summer term 🌞

We've had an amazing time here at Fenton Kindergarten 💙 Lots of wonderful learning experiences for our children, with strong community links and fantastic opportunities provided by a dedicated early years team 💙

We've watched children grow from tiny babies into strong, independent children 💙 and what an absolute privilege it has been 🥰

Today we have been on an adventure to Fenton Park, to enjoy the annual event of Tales in the Park 📔🤩. The children had great fun listening to a story teller engaging and participating in the active parts throughout. We also ventured over to the circus tent, where the children could practice their own circus skills...the children were very good at the different activities on offer & the tight rope proved a huge hit!
Of course, we had to stop off at the fire engine 🚒, the fireman told us all about the different aspects of the fire truck and let us take a ride inside! Some of the children got into true character, wearing the fireman's helmet! But luckily there was no emergency whilst we were exploring the fire engine!
Before heading back for a yummy picnic lunch, we each received a book of our choice to celebrate Tales in the Park at Fenton which we will take home for night time reading!

💐Today is - International Day of Friendship 💐 So we decided to go and visit our friends over the road at The Limes and share some of the beautiful art work the children had created 💐

👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓Graduation 2025 🧑‍🎓👩‍🎓

We said a very sad goodbye to the children making that journey into primary education this week 🥹

It was a very emotional week 🥹 but a week filled with pride and love for our children 💙 Our theme this year was - "Our future is Bright" and we had an absolute blast 🎉

💙 We wish all our children the best and brightest future and we can't wait to see the fantastic things you achieve in life 💙
