Take place at Bradwell
crematorium on Monday 1st December 2025 at 3.20pm. Would anyone wishing to attend please meet and disperse at the crematorium.

“We Remember Still”

Each year, as poppies bloom anew,
And quiet falls where trumpets blew,
We stand once more beside the stone,
Where names, not faces, make their home.

We’ve held the hands of those who weep,
For memories love will always keep,
And watched the silence fill the air
A sacred pause, a whispered prayer.

The years roll on, the seasons turn,
Yet still, within, the candles burn,
For those who gave, and those who grieve,
For peace we promise to believe.

Here in Stoke, beneath November skies,
We see their stories in loved ones’ eyes,
And honour every life, every name,

Here at Tudor-Davies Funeral Services we have seen an increase in marketing activity from some national direct cremation providers.
Many people aren’t even aware that their local independent funeral director offers the same direct cremation services, let me assure you that this is something we have always offered.

What makes us different?

• Our team of qualified staff all live and work in our local community.
• Our team are here to guide and support you and your loved ones.
• Your loved one will be transferred into our care at the earliest opportunity, and they will remain in our Stoke on Trent or Newcastle under Lyme premises until the cremation takes place.
• Our non-attended cremations are carried out here within days of the paperwork being completed and the ashes returned in the following days.
• We can arrange for your loved one to be dressed in their own clothing and you can visit them in our chapel of rest.

How much does it cost?
A local dignified direct cremation arranged by our team here at Tudor-Davies costs only £1079.00.
If you’d like to plan for the future, we can also arrange a direct cremation Golden Charter funeral plan which would cost £1404.00.

We are always trying to make everyone’s Funeral Service Individual and Personal. Today we said goodbye to a much loved character Steven Field ‘Fieldsy’ and he arrived exactly how he would have wanted to on the back of his own Transporter. Rest in Peace Fieldsy ❤️
