Looking after your loved one’s last wishes is as important to us as it is to you. Our caring, personal approach will put you at ease. We’ll take care of the entire arrangements giving family and friends the peace of mind needed at such a sensitive time. We take time to get to know you and provide support to anyone who walks through the door. We are transparent and honest in everything we do. When someone close to you dies, having to arrange their funeral will probably be one of the most difficult challenges you have to face in life. We’re here for you in your time of need day or night. Working together as a family helps us to keep our family values at the core of what we do. We ask ourselves frequently, "If we were in your position, what would we want/need?”
The Family have over 85 years of experience in supporting families through difficult times in their lives. Kevin and Sue’s daughters Jacqui and Jayne and daughter- in-law Kerry also work in the family business. We are known as many things: funeral directors, undertakers, a funeral home, but what we really are is a family, who are here to support you; the people of Newcastle-under-lyme, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Crewe, Cheshire, and well beyond. ⏰Update to Our Opening Hours⏰
Madeley Branch (CW3 9EA)

After more than a year of supporting families from our Madeley office, we’ve taken some time to reflect on how we can continue providing the most personal and attentive service possible for our community. So from now on, our Madeley office will be open to visitors Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00am – 4:30pm.

On Mondays and Fridays, we are not closed, the office will be available by appointment. Appointments allow us to offer a more dedicated, one-to-one service when you visit.
If you would like to arrange a time, please call 01782 914777 or 01782 291500, we will always do our very best to accommodate you.

Part of the reason for this change, is we have felt like something is missing, and we pin pointed what that missing feeling was... we need to allow our full team to spend some time working together at our Newcastle office (The way it was when we started). That time together is incredibly important to us, it helps us support one another and ultimately provide a better service to the families who trust us. It’s simply not the same when we don’t have opportunities to come together as the whole team.

Our head office at Andrew Place, Newcastle (ST5 1DL) will continue to operate as usual, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm, and we remain fully operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by telephone for immediate support from both/ either of our branches.

As always, when you call us, your call will be answered by a member of our small family team.

Tomorrow morning Jayne with be joining Adrian Chiles live in the studio at the BBC in Cardiff, talking all things mortuary cosmetology also on the show there will be Mark Steele, author, broadcaster, stand up comedian, and newspaper columnist and Sr Libby Osgood former NASA aero space engineer who became a nun when she joined the Congregation of Notre Dame combining her faith with science!
Sounds like it's going to be quite the show, we will be tuning in at 9am feeling proud as punch. 💛

even at Christmas.☎
We received a message last night
(this is not the actual message for privacy reasons)
But we just wanted to put this out there, the thought that someone may worry and not know what to do if their loved one passes over the festive period. Nothing changes just call us like normal we are always at the end of the phone.

Kevin has more than 25 years experience in supporting families, arranging and conducting funerals from all ethnic groups, both religious and non- religious. We will give your loved one, you and your family an extremely high quality and individual service.

Susan has worked as a registered General and Sick Children’s Nurse in the NHS and private sector for 40 years. She has a wealth of experience in supporting families through difficult times in their lives, sadly including bereavement and is eager to continue to offer this service.

Because your requirements are of such importance to you, we are here to advise you personally in making arrangements which meet your individual needs, whether that is a traditional or an alternative funeral, with a horse drawn hearse, motorcycle hearse or a motor hearse.We will ensure that each and every detail is discussed with you thoroughly, and will go the extra mile to ensure that the day is all you expect. We can facilitate all other requests, for example, flowers, order of service, catering, bereavement notices, memorial masonry and supply of specialised jewellery.
