โจ Good News! Extra Osteopathy Appointments Now Available on Mondays โจ
In the run up to Christmas, Iโll be opening up Monday appointments to help support you through this busy, often physically demanding season.
Christmas can be joyful โ but it can also mean more sitting, more carrying, more wrapping, more driving, and often less movement. All of which can take a toll on your back, neck and shoulders.
Here are a few simple ways to look after your body this festive season:
๐ Wrap Smarter
Sit at a table rather than on the floor or sofa when wrapping presents. This protects your lower back, keeps your spine supported and reduces neck and shoulder strain.
๐ฏ๏ธ Keep Moving
We tend to sit more over Christmas โ long meals, films, gatherings. Try to stand, stretch or walk around every 30โ60 minutes to keep joints mobile and circulation flowing.
๐ฅ Stay Warm
Cold muscles tighten more quickly. Use layers, heat packs or a warm bath to help muscles stay relaxed and supple.
๐งโโ๏ธ Gentle Spinal Movement
Simple seated twists, shoulder rolls or reaching arms overhead with a deep breath can help ease stiffness and keep your spine happy.
๐ฌ Listen to Your Body
That little ache or twinge is often your bodyโs early whisper before it becomes a shout.
If your body is feeling tight, sore, restricted or simply in need of some care โ I now have Monday osteopathic appointments available throughout December to help you stay mobile, comfortable and well.
