This makes accessing contraception quicker and more convenient, helping you stay in control of your s*xual health. Trained pharmacy teams can offer confidential advice and support to help you choose the right option for you. 💊🩺

Emergency contraception can stop you getting pregnant after unprotected s*x (s*x without contraception or when contraception might have failed). If you need emergency contraception after having unprotected s*x, speak to your local pharmacist as soon as you can. You need to use emergency contraception within 3 to 5 days of having unprotected s*x. ✨

Good morning all

Just a gentle reminder we have our first winter event tomorrow morning at Hartshill Medical Centre.

We are pleased to say we have an additional training session happening tomorrow……….

Come and get trained on BLS (basic life support) and walk away trained with a certified certificate 😊

🌞 Spotting Skin Cancer Early Can Save Lives 🌞
Knowing what’s normal for your skin is one of the best ways to catch skin cancer early. That means keeping an eye on your skin and looking out for any unusual changes — like a new mole or a patch that’s changed in size, shape, or colour.

🔍 What to look for:
• A mole that looks different from your others
• A patch of skin that’s sore, itchy, or bleeds and doesn’t heal
• Any change that just doesn’t feel right.

If you notice anything unusual, don’t wait — book an appointment with your GP. It might be nothing, but it’s always best to get it checked. ✔️
🧴 And don’t forget: protecting your skin from too much sun can also help reduce your risk.
