We have a decreasing number of UK veterans who fought in World War II, there are now fewer than 8,000.

A veteran is anyone who has served for at least one day in the British Armed Forces, whether as a Regular or Reservist (previously known as the Territorial Army). It means the same as ‘ex service personnel’ or ‘ex forces'. Veterans include those who were Merchant Navy seafarers or fisherman who served in a vessel used to support the UK's armed forces at any time.

Our surgery is proud to be accredited as a Veteran Friendly Practice by the Royal College of GPs. If you or a family member are a patient and have served or are currently serving in the armed forces, please let us know.

Thank you for your service

🚧 Important Notice for Patients – Road Closure Near the Surgery 🚧

We’ve only been made aware this morning that the road from the traffic lights near Spratslade Care Home to Lidl is closed due to roadworks which should be completed by 5 o’clock.

Please note this may cause delays and limited access to the surgery. We kindly ask all patients to allow extra time for travel and parking when attending appointments.

We apologise for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while the works are ongoing.
