🎉💛 Children in Need at Scotia Heights! 💛🎉

What an amazing day we’ve celebrated Children in Need across Scotia Heights! Our incredible catering team baked a special cake for every single service user — and they looked (and tasted!) absolutely fantastic! 🍰✨

Each unit got their very own party pack, filled with fun bits and bobs to keep the celebrations going. 🎈🎁 The energy, the smiles, and the colourful decorations made the whole home feel extra joyful today!

We also held a friendly competition to design Pudsey’s bandana, and WOW did our residents get creative! 🎨🐻 A HUGE congratulations to our winner — one of our lovely residents from Doulton! 🏆💛 Your design was bright, bold, and brilliantly Pudsey!

Thank you to everyone who joined in, supported, and helped make today so special. Together, we’ve celebrated, created, and contributed to an amazing cause. 💛

🎄✨ Christmas prep is in full swing! 🎅

This morning, we’ve been getting our hands (and tables!) a little messy making salt dough gingerbread men decorations — ready to sell at our upcoming Christmas Party & Fair! 🎁

Our amazing service users got creative in the Hub, carefully measuring out the salt, flour, and water, mixing it all together, and then rolling and cutting out their very own gingerbread men. 🍪✨

The room was full of laughter, teamwork, and a sprinkle of Christmas cheer — and we can’t wait to show off their lovely creations at the fair! 🎨❤️

❤️ Remembrance Day at Scotia Heights ❤️

Today, we joined together to honor and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🌹

A group of our residents took a trip to Swan Bank to take part in the Remembrance Service and watch the parade on Sunday. It was a truly moving experience — filled with reflection, pride, and community spirit. 🇬🇧

Our service users proudly wore their poppies to mark the occasion, each sharing their own memories and stories from years gone by. 🌺

We’re so grateful to have been part of such a meaningful day of remembrance.

🎆 Bonfire Night Fun at Scotia Heights! 🎆

What a wonderful evening we had celebrating Bonfire Night together! 💥 Our residents kept warm with delicious hot chocolate, hearty homemade soup, and of course — the magic of sparklers lighting up the night! ✨

Laughter, stories, and lots of smiles made the night truly special. 🧣☕

🌞 A Wonderful Morning Supporting Independence ✂️🎬

Today, one of our service users enjoyed a lovely morning out that began with a trip to the barbers. Regular activities like this play a vital role in promoting independence, confidence, and personal wellbeing — key values we proudly uphold here at Scotia Heights 💇‍♂️✨

Afterwards, the morning continued with a special screening of The Bishop’s Wife at the MAC Theatre. 🍿🎭 It was a joyful outing filled with smiles, conversation, and the shared enjoyment of a classic film.

Supporting meaningful experiences and celebrating independence are at the heart of everything we do. 💙

🌟 What a BUSY and BRILLIANT Thursday it’s been for our team! 🌟

Today we kicked off the morning by supporting one of our amazing service users to their volunteering job — it’s always inspiring to see the difference they’re making in the community 💪💛

Then it was off to deliver our second donation for the Stoke Toy Appeal 🎁✨ We’re so proud to be part of something that spreads joy to children and families who need it most this Christmas!

Meanwhile, our activity team has been hard at work (and having lots of fun!) starting on our Children in Need decorations 🐻💛 and Christmas Party prep 🎄🎉 — the creativity and festive spirit are in full swing!

✨🎆 Arts & Crafts Fireworks Edition! 🎆✨

Our hub was bursting with colour and creativity this week as our service users came together to make their very own firework paintings! 💥🎨

Armed with paint, glitter, and plenty of imagination, everyone let their artistic sparks fly — the results were absolutely dazzling! 🌈✨

We love seeing how each person’s masterpiece shines in its own way — just like real fireworks lighting up the night sky. 🌟

Our service users got into the Christmas spirit early this week with a delicious taster session from Apetito’s festive menu! 🎁🍗 From hearty turkey dinners to indulgent puddings, everyone enjoyed sampling the tasty treats and sharing their favourites — with plenty of laughter (and a few requests for seconds!) 🎄😋

It’s safe to say our Christmas countdown has officially begun — and our taste buds are very ready! ❤️

🎃🕸️ Happy Halloween from everyone at Scotia Heights! 👻🕷️

What a fang-tastic day we’ve had celebrating Halloween together! 🧛‍♂️🦇 Our residents and staff got into the spooky spirit with a Halloween quiz, party games, and of course, a delicious buffet full of treats (no tricks!) 🍰🧁🎉

There were plenty of laughs, a few frights, and lots of amazing costumes on show – it’s been a wonderful day of fun, friendship, and festive cheer. 💜

🎃 Spooktacular Day at Alton Towers Scarefest! 🎢👻

Our residents and team had an amazing time visiting Alton Towers Scarefest this week! Two of our service users joined us for a day packed with thrills, laughter, and plenty of spooky surprises. From the hair-raising scare mazes to the exhilarating rides, everyone showed incredible courage and a fantastic sense of adventure! 💪🎢

The Halloween atmosphere was truly magical – glowing pumpkins, eerie music, and lots of smiles all around. 🧡 It was a wonderful day for everyone to enjoy something different, make memories, and share plenty of laughs (and maybe a few screams!).

A big thank you to our dedicated staff for making this unforgettable trip possible. 🌟

🍁✨ A Perfect Autumn Outing! ✨🍁

Our residents had the most wonderful morning at Trentham Garden Shopping Village today! With the support of our activity staff, we enjoyed the crisp autumn air while exploring the beautiful surroundings and browsing the lovely shops. There were plenty of smiles as we tucked into delicious crêpes and waffles — and a special stop at the ice cream parlour made the day even sweeter! 😋🍦

A huge thank you to our dedicated team for making days like this possible. It’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to get out, make memories together, and enjoy the simple joys of the season. 🍂💛
