💪 M is for MOTOmed!
The MOTOmed is a brilliant adaptive piece of equipment that lets you exercise your arms, legs, or both — all while seated in a wheelchair or regular chair.

It has three training modes:
✨ Passive
✨ Assistive
✨ Active
…so it can be tailored perfectly to each person’s ability and goals.

With fun interactive games and detailed biofeedback, the MOTOmed helps build strength, endurance, and coordination — and lets you track your progress along the way 🚀

At Positive Steps, we’re proud to support people of all abilities, goals, and backgrounds. Everyone deserves the chance to move, grow, and shine and we’re here to make that possible.

Yesterday evening, Positive Steps teamed up with a local Beavers group to help them earn their Disability Awareness badge!

We showed them the accessible features around the clinic, explored some of the equipment we use to support our superstar clients, and they even got to have a go themselves!

It was such a lovely evening, full of curiosity, learning, and lots of smiles.😊

It’s Feedback Friday and our hearts are full! 💙

We are so grateful for the trust our families place in us every day.

Hearing how our support makes a difference is exactly why we do what we do.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us — it means everything. 💛✨

👣 L is for Little Steps Class!
Our Little Steps class is specially designed for toddlers who may be finding movement or developmental milestones a little tricky. It’s a fun, supportive environment where little ones work with our team towards their own individual goals 💙

The aim? To build confidence, independence, and movement skills — all through play and positive encouragement.

And we’re SO proud to share that in our very first block, every child took their first independent steps 🥹✨ They’ve continued to grow in balance, confidence, and ability, and we couldn’t be prouder.

We can’t wait to support even more little ones on their journey 💛

K is for Kaye Walker ✨
There are many different types of gait trainers that children and young adults use to support walking, and one of the most common is the Kaye Walker.

The Kaye Walker provides support from behind, helping with balance and stability so that individuals can practise walking more independently.

Walkers vary in the level of support they provide, depending on each person’s needs. Their main purpose is to improve stability, posture, and alignment, while also encouraging leg strength and weight bearing.

At Positive Steps, we regularly use equipment like the Kaye Walker as part of therapy to promote confidence, mobility, and independence. 💙
