Today was our lovely Betty’s resident of the month celebration and she had a fab time ❤️ Betty chose fish and chips, fruit and cream, Jaffa cakes and a gin and tonic 🍸 It was so lovely to see Betty sharing a meal with her granddaughter and making new memories, it truly was a pleasure to help this happen 🥰🍽️

Some photographs from last nights bonfire night party (albeit slightly blurred as it was dark!) 🎇 We had a fantastic time watching fireworks set off by our amazing handyman Tony, lit sparklers, toasted marshmallows, ate good food and drank some lovely hot chocolate and mulled ginger beer ☕️ All of our incredible staff joined in, and we even put on mini firework displays in the windows of our residents who were unable to join us in the garden - so that 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 had the option of taking part ❤️ Thank you to all who joined us for the evening and made donations to our residents fund, we are eternally grateful ✨

Final reminder for our bonfire night celebrations today from 4pm to 6pm 🎆 This is the first time we’ve done something like this for bonfire night and we would love to see all of your lovely faces for an afternoon of fun!☺️ All money raised from today goes into our residents fund to raise money for our amazing residents, thank you in advance for your support and generosity ❤️

Today Lauren and Kerry had the pleasure of accompanying husband and wife, Margaret and Phil to Bucknall Methodist church for Sunday service ⛪️ Today’s service was a celebration of All Saints Day, so we heard wonderful readings about the different Saints in the bible, as well as recognising those around us who inspire us in the same way ❤️ Best of all, Margaret and Phil got to reconnect with their congregation and lifelong friends, as well as seeing their lovely son-in-law Robert, which as Margaret said made for a ‘beautiful morning full of love’ 🥰

This morning Lauren took the role of a spider, so that our lovely residents could play ring toss! 🕷️ We used this fantastic spider hat to get our arms moving, and everyone threw the rings to see how many points they could get 🎃 It was great fun and we have a lovely afternoon full of Halloween crafts along with a visit from our hairdresser to finish the day ❤️
