Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday 25th October 2025, aged 85 years. devoted husband to Margaret, loving dad to Helen, Mark, Andrew and David a proud grandad and great-grandad. Colin will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will take place at Dove Evangelical Free Church, Uttoxeter on Saturday 15th November 2025 at 12 (noon). Phillips, James Basil 'Jim' 'Jimmy'

At peace on 16th October 2025 aged 84 years. Son of the late Charles and Mabel Phillips, brother to Mary and the late Charlie, brother in law to the late Raynal, dear uncle and great uncle.
Jim was a huge part of the Uttoxeter community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will take place at St Mary's Parish Church on Friday 14th November 2025 at 11am, followed by a celebration of his life at Bradley House Club. Family flowers only please but your kind donations in memory of Jim will be divided between Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and The Staffordshire Regiment Museum.

Sullivan, John Tilley 🌹

Passed away peacefully on 14th October 2025, aged 87 years. Beloved husband of Pamela, devoted father to Dawn, Maria and Karen, and dear father-in-law to Mike, Mark and Gary. A cherished grandad to Nicola and Christopher, and a proud great-grandad to Casey and Cameron. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will take place at Stafford Crematorium on Thursday 13th November 2025 at 12 noon, followed by a celebration of John’s life at Uttoxeter Golf Club. Where possible, black attire with navy ties (or navy scarves for ladies) would be appreciated.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, will be gratefully received in John’s memory for the RNLI, Worthing.

Formerly co-owner, with his father, John of Upperdale Coaches, Derby.
Passed away peacefully on 24th August 2025, aged 73 years.

Beloved husband of Yvonne, much-loved dad to Jemma, Richard, Luke and Jade, a dear father-in-law to Janine and Lauren and a cherished grandad to Rhiannan, Georgia, Seb and Martha. Mick will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held at Bretby Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Thursday 9th October 2025 at 12pm, followed by a celebration of Mick’s life at Branston Golf and Country Club. To assist with catering, confirmation of attendance would be greatly appreciated.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in Mick’s memory will be shared between Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity (supporting Ward 6 at Queen’s Hospital) and The Lung and Asthma Charity UK.
