🏁 Race 4 - LMP12 - A Final Results from Wycombe RCC!

What an electrifying showdown at the Wycombe RCC for Race 4 of the LMP12 A Final! Mark Stiles took the crown with a blistering total time of 59 seconds, showcasing his dominance on the track with a stunning best lap of 7.780s. His precision and speed were unmatched, leaving competitors in his wake.

To compete at our race events, we ask that you register and pay for your entry in advance. This enables us to organise the race schedule prior to the event and minimise the time we spend registering drivers and taking payment of race fees on the day.

No more lugging track markers from the storage container to the track hall!

We’ve got hold of this big flight case on wheels, so now getting everything from A to B will be a single trip.

Faster setup and pack away means more time for racing, so get booked in for our next club meeting Tomorrow (13th Nov).

Time to get booked in for racing this Thursday (13th Nov). once again on our larger and improved circuit! Please do not leave booking in to the last minute. It really helps us get organised in advance when people book in early! Thank you...

So while I'm here, a better late than never meeting report:

Last meeting on the 30th October was a great one with 15 Minis, 10 LMP and for the first time a heat of 4 LM-GT3. We are expecting the club to go from strength to strength with access to the new hall the new norm!

In qualifying for Minis, Shaun Batt was back with his Battcave and dominated from Karl Dobbs 2nd (Battcave) and Anthony Williams 3rd (TWR). Chris Kerswell was back racing and already showing his speed taking 4th (Battcave). No doubt Chris will be topping the times soon.

In the LMP class, Mark Stiles (Awesomatix) had to settle for a rare second best to Matthieu Dambrine (Schumacher). 3rd went to Rich White (Awesomatix). Franck Dambrine a strong 4th from Mark Payne 5th.

In LM-GT3 it was Ian Masters taking pole from Mark Passingham, Mike Watts and Frank Williams.

Onto the finals and the Mini B final was won by Elliot Dimelow with a strong lead over Seb Holloway in 2nd. Seb driving a good measured race to get a great result. In 3rd was Louis Birch and 4th Matthew Kerswell.

The A final Minis was dominated by Shaun Batt, Karl Dobbs fell down the order with issues. So in this one 2nd went to Anthony Williams and 3rd Chris Kerswell. 4th place went to the Battcave of Remo Casadei, Sam Dimelow 5th (Battcave), Karl Dobbs 6th, Andy Warner 7th with his Kamtec and Nick Holloway 8th. The LMP B Final was won by Mark Wilson after an early race battle with Mark Goodchild. 3rd went to Ian Masters.

The LMP A Final was a terrific race with Matthieu Dambrine and Mark Stiles closely engaged on the track for the entire race. In the end Matthieu took the win from Mark second and Rich White in 3rd. Mark Payne ended 4th and Franck Dambrine 5th.

The LM-GT3 was also an excellent and tight race with Ian Masters just taking the win from Mark Passingham. Frank Williams took 3rd with Mike Watts 4th. The LM-GT3 cars looked so much fun and a very sensible speed. What a great club class!

Reminder for tonight:

Doors open at 6:30. If you arrive earlier your assistance appreciated to move pipes from the container to the sports hall.

It is now needed to bring a fold up table and chair for pitting. We cannot get access to the rooms we used previously as they have people using them.

We are working on a way to transport the pipes but we have not achieved this yet! Work in progress.... :-)

Reminder! Get booked in asap for Thursday 30th October’s club meeting. Minis, LMP and LM-GT3. We are expecting a pick up in attendance with mini racers this week. Hopefully GT3 can have their own heat too….

Intent is a more fast flowing track this week. 😊

We do need drivers to book in a bit earlier please. In recent weeks everyone leaves it to the last minute and this is not helpful for race control and setup…
