These are the things I see most weeks. The quiet patterns that remind me why I do this work the way I do.

A lot of people walk in worried they shouldn't be here, or that they've left it too long, or that what they're feeling isn't 'bad enough' to need help.

But good care isn't about meeting some kind of threshold. It's about being heard, feeling safe, and getting the support that helps your body settle.

If you're unsure, it's always okay to ask. Send us a message and we'll talk it through.

I see a lot of new mums who carry so much heaviness about not being enough, not doing it right, not feeling like themselves.

And I want you to know something.

The version of yourself you're being hardest on right now is your baby's favourite person in the world.

You don't need to be anything other than what you already are.

If you're finding it hard to be kind to yourself right now, we're here for you.

15/03/2026

You don't need to worry about your baby crying.

This is a safe space for both of you.

If your baby becomes unsettled, we pause. We give them time to settle. We work at their pace, not ours.

There's no pressure, no judgment, no expectation that they should be calm or quiet.

Sometimes babies cry because they need to. Sometimes parents arrive feeling tired or overwhelmed.

All of that is okay here.

If you're unsure whether to bring your baby in, we're here to talk it through.

Newborn sleep can feel really overwhelming.

I speak to so many mums who feel like they should have it all figured out already… but the truth is, those early weeks are a huge adjustment for both of you.

Your baby is brand new here.

Their nervous system is still learning how to settle, sleep, and feel safe outside the womb.

And you’re learning too.

If your baby feels more unsettled than you expected, or something just doesn’t feel quite right, you’re always welcome to reach out.

You don’t have to sit there wondering or second-guessing yourself.

12/03/2026

I know it can feel hard to know whether you should reach out.

Everything is new, and it's easy to question yourself.
Is this normal? Am I overreacting? Should I wait a bit longer?

But you don't have to sit with that on your own. Sometimes, just asking those questions is a sign that you need a bit of reassurance.

If something doesn't feel quite right, that matters.

It doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. Sometimes your baby's body is just working harder than it needs to, and a little support can help things settle.

If this feels familiar, you're always welcome to reach out. You don't need to have it all figured out.

I became an osteopath because of a simple idea:

The body already knows how to heal itself.

My job isn’t to force or “fix” your body. It’s to listen to what it’s doing, work out where things are getting stuck, and help restore the conditions where it can do what it’s meant to do.

Sometimes that means treatment.

Sometimes it means saying, “this needs a bit more support than my hands can give,” and suggesting parents speak to their GP, midwife or health visitor.

Especially with babies, my priority is always the same:
not pride, not pushing treatment, but asking —

what does this little person need right now?

Good care is about supporting the patient and the family around them — knowing when to treat, or when to guide people towards the help they need.
