As the festive season is truly over, the media now turns their focus on holidays, fitness and weight loss. Staying grounded and practicing self-compassion can really help to build resilience to these external factors that often end up being further stressors in our lives. Nature is a reminder that the simple things can bring perspective to the demands of the modern world dominated by technology. So the invitation is a to go for a walk if you can and notice the truly significant goals that are worth pursuing in your life.

My focus over the last 2years has shifted to Mindfulness and I am using my Energy Medicine background to support my own health and wellbeing, which is also complimenting the compassionate approach when teaching the 8-week MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) courses.
I am leading an online course in autumn again and possibly another one during the winter as part of my final year project module of the Masters programme I study on with Bangor University. If anybody wishes to start or continue their Mindfulness journey and is interested in the 8-week MBSR course, please get in touch.

Perspective. I was standing on the UWE Dune on the island of Sylt recently, its highest natural 'hump'. I could see far and wide, most of the north shape of the island. I am only just over 50m above sea level but it feels like I could touch the clouds! What joy this view gave me. What brings you joy? 🥰🙏
