Winter 🥶 foot care:
Proper foot wear: good grip/ insulation & waterproof, protect your feet from cold & moisture.

Use warm socks & avoid contact with direct heat.

Keep your feet dry to avoid fungal & bacterial growth.

Trim toe nails regularly, moisturise & exfoliate your feet 👣

Polite reminder of my cancellation policy: 👣🦶

Cancellation Policy:

I understand that sometimes you may need to change or cancel your appointment. To respect my time and that of other clients, i require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

• Missed appointments (“no-shows”) will also be charged the full fee.

• This policy applies to all clients, regardless of the reason for cancellation.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation — this allows me to continue providing the best care for all my clients.

As winter is quickly approaching it’s important to continue to take care of your feet 🦶.

Winter foot care tips to keep your feet happy and healthy :-

1. Keep your feet dry

Often people reach for thick, fluffy socks but often these can make people’s feet sweat. Sweaty feet can often result in bacterial and fungal infections.

Marino wool socks 🧦 are recommended as they keep the feet warm but also dry.

2. Winter ❄️ foot wear

Appropriate foot wear is essential, especially if you spend a lot of time on your feet and in wet conditions. Shoes should have enough room to wiggle your toes as well as fit snugly around the heel, instep and ball of your foot.
In winter conditions surfaces can offer become slippery so please take notice of the grip on any winter footwear.

3. Wash and moisturise your feet often

Wash your feet often, dry thoroughly. Taking extra care to dry between your toes as often moisture here can lead to athletes foot and fungus.
Moisturise your feet to help prevent any cracks and dry skin. Again remembering not to moisturise between the toes, as a build up of cream can lead to fungal infections.
Take this opportunity to check the feet for any sores or cuts that potentially could become infected.

4. Keep your toenails trimmed

Feet 👣 are often hidden under socks and in boots throughout the winter and quite often the cutting of toenails can be neglected but it is important to keep them trimmed and healthy.
Don’t let them get to long as they can break and become sore.

Don’t forgot to protect your feet and toes with suncream. Often feet can be an after thought When it comes to applying sun tan lotion leading to sunburn and uv damage.

Wet feet 👣 can cause friction often leading to painful sores, blisters and corns as well as fungus. Keeping your feet dry, changing wet socks and shoes can help prevent this.
