Based in the seaside town on Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, Mowat Court care home provides high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care on a permanent and short-term basis. Residents are welcome to enjoy the shared facilities in the home, such as the hair and beauty salon and various lovely lounges. There is also a conservatory that looks out onto the home's beautiful garden where you can admire the colourful flower beds. Each bedroom at Mowat Court is spacious and tastefully furnished with en-suite facilities and a 24-hour nurse call system. This means the team get to know each of the residents so they can create unique care and lifestyle plans to suit their needs.

Today some of the residents went to the Titanic Exhibition. We had a fabulous time going aboard and checking in. We were each given a real passengers boarding card and we checked to see if we survived or not. A great experience and well worth the visit.

Today some of our Indian Colleagues will celebrate Holi. This is their festival of colour and it celebrates the end of Winter and welcomes the summer. They have bonfires much like our Fireballs to gather the evil spirits.
We coloured in Rangoli and tried some traditional Indian sweeties and Zarana painted our faces.
