🐣💛 Spreading a little Easter joy at Landale Court!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents and team, we donated dozens of Easter eggs 🎁 along with cash contributions to ARI, helping ensure every child received a treat this weekend.

We also made sure allergy-friendly options were included, so no one missed out 🌸

Our Brio Tapestry knitting challenge is complete – and what a result! 🧶 More than 160 hats, blankets and comfort items have been lovingly created and donated to local charities, including Friends of ANCHOR and ARI’s maternity ward.

Thank you to all our amazing knitters for your time, talent and kindness in supporting such worthy causes.

What an incredible evening at Landale Court’s Wine & Cheese Tasting on Thursday hosted by Morag – it was a massive hit! 🧀🍷 A huge thank you to everyone who came out, we can’t wait for the next event!

Weather Update from Landale Court 🌨️

With the severe weather still causing havoc across Aberdeenshire, here’s a quick update from us at Landale Court:

❄️ Restaurant: Due to staff being unable to reach Chapelton safely, the restaurant remains closed to the public, but open for residents only. You’re very welcome to pop down if it’s safe to do so — or give our team a call to see what’s available. We can serve meals in the restaurant or deliver them to your home if you’d prefer to stay inside.

🔧 Pathways & Access: A huge thank you to our superstar maintenance operative, Paul, and our contractors who have been working tirelessly to clear snow and ice from the paths and car park. Conditions remain difficult with drifting snow and ice, so please don’t take risks — just call us if you’d like your path cleared or need help getting around the site.

💪 Community Spaces: The hobby room, gym, and residents’ lounge are all open. Please don’t feel isolated — we’re here and happy to help however we can daily 7am - 9pm.

Our festive fun has kicked off with a cosy wreath-making session lead by Sandra 🌿🎀 and a magical trip to the panto to see Cinderella – complete with plenty of laughs and “oh no it isn’t!” moments. 👑🥿

And we’re only just getting started… 🎅❄️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas light switch-on – it was lovely to see so many smiling faces. The festive singing, warm mulled wine, and tasty treats really set the tone for the season. 🎄
