UK based lovely folk. I get some of my products from this company and they have a samples section that you can choose (up to 5?) and they send them in those little sachets. I've found this to be a good way for sensitive clients to see if a product would work for them without forking out for a a bottle of something that ends up being bothersome. This beauty is Rehmannia glutinosa or Chinese foxglove, and is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it has the name shēng dì huáng. It is also specially prepared by soaking in millet or rice wine/vinegar, steamed and sun dried 7 times. It is traditionally used to support the liver and kidneys and this special preparation method lends to the herb to be useful as a blood tonic for women and menstrual issues especially during the transition to menopause where there is depletion and an overwhelmed nervous system. Research has found it useful for night sweats and hot flushes. It also supports bone and cardiovascular health with helping to maintain bone density and healthy blood pressure.
