With deep sadness we announce that Eleanor (Ellie) McLeod passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. A loving wife to the late Iain, much-loved Mum to Heather and John, cherished Mum-in-law to Neil and Alison, and a wonderful devoted Grandma to Robyn, Lewis, Murray, Carla and Anna. A celebration of her life, well lived, will take place at Aberdeen Crematorium, East Chapel, on Friday February 27, at 11.30am. All friends are respectfully invited. Please feel free to wear a flower, or something floral, in Ellie's memory. Should you wish to donate, a collection will be taken at the Crematorium for charities close to Ellie's heart.

Sadly, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Friday 30th January, 2026, Ian Beaton, aged 82 years, passed away.

A dearly loved dad to Rowena and Alex, much loved and cherished grandad, father-in-law, caring family man, neighbour, and a great friend to many.

Funeral service at Portlethen Church on Monday 23rd February at 11.00am; thereafter interment at Portlethen Cemetery, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Please wear a touch of tartan if you wish.
