I went for a really long walk on Friday. 48km to complete the 300km Duchenne Dash at Home. It was really hard, I cried a few times but I had amazing support, from amazing people.
I’d almost given up so many times over the last few weeks - I’m tired, I’m busy, my feet were hurting - but I carried on. Sometimes carrying on isn’t easy, but the reward at the end - that feeling of achievement and satisfaction makes it all worth it.
We will be taking things very slowly in yoga classes this week - sometimes slowing down is that necessary reset we so often need, but rarely allow ourselves to have. Expect slow and steady holds, gentle flowing movement, working with our breath, and just being kind to ourselves - body and mind.
