🤔 Do you ever feel like your teen's anxiety is beyond your influence? 🤯

I understand how overwhelming it can be when your teen's anxiety seems beyond your ability to manage. 🆘

Especially when your teen doesn't want to go to school, or when their anxiety takes over, it can feel like an insurmountable challenge and you only have a small part of play. It's perfectly normal to have these concerns.

But here's the thing...
You have more influence and power than you might think. 😌

I've worked with countless parents who initially felt helpless, believing their teen's anxiety was insurmountable. Yet, with the right guidance and support, they made a real impact on their teen's anxiety journey.

🌟 Here's what some of them have to say:
👩‍🦱 "Both my child and I received very constructive and positive support from Rebecca from the outset at a time when my child was in the depths of despair and I felt like a hopeless onlooker."

👨‍👩‍👧 "With Rebecca's patient support my child has grown in confidence and has now successfully moved onto the next stage in her life. I truly do believe that this would not have been possible if it had not been for Rebecca's input for my daughter and me, for which I cannot thank her enough "

👩‍💼 "I felt that my son was listened to, Beck was always calm and reassuring to us both and my son had techniques that he continues to use. This is a real comfort for a parent. Thank you so much for helping both of us."

You see, parents like you hold the key to change. And my Anxiety Allies Programme is designed to give you all the tools and strategies you need to make a difference. 💪

I've noticed that so many well-meaning parents are eager to shield their teens from distress, doing everything in their power to make things easier, fix issues, and take responsibility off their shoulders. As a parent I get it, It's so natural to want your child to lead a happy, worry-free life.

I've been using the lull between Christmas and New Year to get started on an exciting new service just for parents.

My idea for this service was prompted by the communication I have had with a number of parents where they explained how lost and ill-prepared you feel when anxiety hits your family.

So I got to thinking that I could pull the relevant resources I use in my clinical practice together and offer psychology support to parents who want:
● to know how to support their teen to break free of anxiety
● to have a more peaceful and joyful home atmosphere
● day-to-day life to just be easier!

The new service will be a three-month learning and support package that will teach you how I’ve made helped many families who have come to see me in clinical practice to break free of anxiety.

In this article I describe a technique I teach clients to use at bedtime which allows them to move away from troublesome thoughts and worries, to find a calmer state to increase the chances of being able to drift off to sleep - I also use this technique myself.
