🌿 A R O M A T H E R A P Y 🌿

Something a little different this morning,

A lovely client wanted to learn more about using essential oils safely for her & her family
So, she added an aromatherapy consultation onto her massage session 💚

We had an extra hour to chat about safety, science, contraindications, medical precautions, dilutions of blends, methods of applications, oils to avoid, what is safe for children, blends that would benefit different scenarios, promoting physical health, supporting emotions, & we even touched briefly on options for cleaning in the home

She then had a tailored aromatherapy blend made to suit her requirements & take home,
Followed by a relaxing aromatherapy back massage 🙌

Honestly I think we could have chatted for days,
An hour was scratching the surface,
Essentials oils are versatile & volatile...
expanding knowledge on how to use them safely is always a good idea
It was amazing to meet someone who was so keen to learn more 🌿🫶

This week started with a question...
"Why?"

Why do I do, what I do?
What made me start my holistics business?
It was a really interesting question 🫶

I've always been a helper, carer & an empath for as long as I can remember, it was my nature ever since I was a child. I also loved nature & was always drawn to helping animals & people.

All of these traits can be beautiful, but they can also be draining & lead to taking on too much 'stuff' that isn't ours to carry. Leading to physical issues arising from our emotions. Emotions that are intense & overwhelming, being sensitive is not for the weak.
I'm sure lots of people can relate

When I discovered energy healing when i was 18, it was the first time in my life I was able to put some of that 'stuff' down, make sense of it - release it. It changed my life.
I knew I wanted to share that with other people. That's what sparked the dream ✨️

My Why? has changed many times since back then, it evolved.
It's naturally flowed from energy healing,
To the power of touch, massage & incorporating herbs & essential oils into my daily life.
I love trees, flowers, herbs & mushrooms
Learning about their impact on our physical body, emotions & energy it blew me away.

Aromatherapy, Reiki, Massage, Reflexology all things id found useful, i wanted to share with others.
I love nature & I believe the answer to most of our whys can be found there 💚🌿

I wanted to create a space where people could come to relax, reset & recharge. On all levels.
To sit quietly with their whys & feel safe, supported & leave feeling lighter.
That's how Rosewood began 🌳

The Why? led me to create.
To create products that other people can use in their own time, to ease their body, soothe their mind, calm their energy. All inspired by nature.

My Why?
It changes often, yet essentially stays the same. To be of service, if what I share helps others, it's the job I dreamed of when I was in the woods mixing potions with sticks as a child 🌸🌿

Well this question made me realise...
It was the thing I was searching for myself
