A very productive afternoon at The Gables, planting spring bulbs and taking geranium cuttings.
It was very relaxing with Classic FM on in the background, lots of lovely chats and a cuppa and a treat when the job was done.

It was nice to think ahead to the spring on such a gloomy day too!

Mrs D expressed a desire to work on her sketching skills so we asked our artist in residence, Biddy Williams to pop in.
It was a lovely afternoon and perfect for ‘The Big Draw’ initiative.
Mr C joined in and had a very focused, productive and enjoyable afternoon.

To mark the end of National Space week we welcomed Rich from BKS Astronomy to The Gables.
He takes extraordinary photos of deep space from his local garden.
Absolutely fascinating and so beautiful.
