Well, that’s a wrap! Autumn Term One has been completed and what an 8 weeks it has been.

We started off with our future focusing Service Day.

We have completed training and workshops for schools on Autism and Circle of Friends.

We have undertaken work with wonderful children, young people, schools and families.

We have supervised our lovely ELSAs.

We have trained two more brilliant team members in Drawing & Talking.

We have completed CPD activities including attending the Festival of Psychology hosted by edpsy.org.uk.

We also launched our new website: https://edpsych4everyone.com

It will be a working holiday for some of us next week but the slower pace will be much appreciated. Time to recharge before we go again!

Several members of Team EPE spent a beautiful day attending . A wonderfully inclusive event with a host of fabulous presenters and really powerful and thoroughly provoking training sessions. A great opportunity to network too. Thanks to edpsy.org.uk and all those involved in organising such a fabulous festival of psychology. See you next time!

We have had a fabulous first week of term. Our first school visits went well and including a mix of training, meetings and casework. We then had a mini service day for most of the core psychology team with time to reflect, reaffirm our values, create our vision for the future and update our mission statement ahead of the launch of our new website. Great input on Down’s Syndrome and a brief introduction to Protective Behaviours and Homunculi too.

We have been so busy at EPE that our social media presence has been limited recently. Changes are afoot as we move towards the end of our tenth Summer Term and look to the future and we look forward to sharing these with you.

For now, we will share a few highlights from this half term. Casework with children and some furry friends, planting flowers in a school garden, receiving a friendship bracelet from a young person expressing gratitude for support, a working lunch in a local cafe to reflect on a good week’s work and some online CPD.

Happy Easter from all at EPE, to those of you who celebrate it. Whether you do or not, we hope you are all able to take some time to enjoy a restful and recuperative break over the holiday period 🙂☀️

Well, it might be nearly the end of term here in the Midlands (3 days to go!), but we're not too tired to join in with some educational fun! A couple of our EPE staffers got to meet royalty today in one of our fab schools, in the form of King Henry VIII no less 😅👑

It was lovely to meet you Good King Hal! Thank you for not beheading us 😉 The children sounded like they were having a wonderful time listening and talking to you.
