For those brave who gave their lives so we could live ours.
"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them."
Lest we forget โค๏ธ

One day, we will meet again. Such an amazing lady, hope you are having a good singalong with all the veterans who were taken too soon. Love to your family at this sad time.
Dame Vera Lynn, the Forces' Sweetheart who sang to troops in World War Two, has died aged 103.

Letโs clap for family carers tonight too. Our care companions do an amazing job each day but so do all the family carers who look after a loved one each and every day, often with little or no support ๐๐๐

I asked a very talented young lady Amber Barnard who is a make up artist if she would do the Care logo for us. This is what she has produced. Thank you so much, itโs amazing and we love it ๐๐๐

Founder and Managing Director Margaret Fisher established My Call 2 Care after identifying a need and gap for telecare support and monitoring whilst running a successful homecare business in Suffolk. During this time, she recognised that not everyone required physical support and that there was no provision for people who didnโt need homecare or residential care. The only alternative was sheltered housing, which often has a long waiting list, and involves moving out of their own home, away from their network of friends and neighbours who they may have known for years.
Margaretโs mother was the Warden of a sheltered housing complex for the elderly. These memories and experiences from her childhood led her on the journey to set up My Call 2 Care. She later became a Registered General Nurse in 1990, working in both the NHS and the Armed forces as a Nursing Sister, specialising in Neurology. She served in Bosnia and worked with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) and World Health Organisation (WHO) to help improve the health services in the local communities, which included setting up GP led clinics. Margaret also worked as a Night Sister at Military Hospitals, responsible for the whole hospital during night hours, bed management and staff issues. After leaving the military she worked in the pharmaceutical industry as an Account Manager, responsible for business planning and liaising with commissioners in the NHS and offering support with service redesign. Margaret later set up a successful homecare business in Suffolk which continues to provide care and support to clients living in their own home.
My Call 2 Care is a telephone support service which helps to enable you to continue living independently in your own home. This service is available to anyone over the age of 18 years. However, it is primarily to support older people and vulnerable adults so they can stay living in their own home, without the need for physical support from carers, for as long as possible. We can help identify problems before they reach crisis point.
We provide a telephone support service between the hours of 9am and 9pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, this includes 2 Care Companionship phone calls each day (morning and evening). All our clients have a โcompanion planโ which is bespoke to you. All our Care Companions are fully trained, DBS checked and we conduct monthly audits on all our Care Companions to ensure we maintain the high standards we set ourselves. We are also members of the TSA (Telecare Services Association) and follow their quality standards and framework.
We also have a โfamily appโ with real time care companion notes, so you have peace of mind that your loved ones are in good hands. *clients must give permission for you to access this โappโ.
We hope you will choose My Call 2 Care as we are passionate about supporting clientsโ well-being and providing companionship and we love to bring a smile to peopleโs faces. We only employ people who love to care, and we endeavour to provide a service that is unique to you.
