Please see attached details of our next Women Together Support Group Session

This group meet on a monthly basis on a drop in basis and is an opportunity to connect with others in a supportive space to share common experiences and develop skills to improve emotional health & wellbeing.

The next meeting will take place on Friday 27th March (10.00am - 11.30am) were participants will explore the topic of useful strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Please note that the group is supported by an accredited counsellor.

Give & Gain - A Moment to Connect Event

Please see some pictures and video from the Give & Gain - A Moment to Connect event which took place on 11th March.

This event brought together local Women & Girls to recognise and celebrate their contributions whilst seeking their views on how we can work together to build a safer community for Women & Girls

Coinciding with International Women's Day (8th March 2026), this event aims to engage with local Women & Girls to recognise and celebrate their contribution whilst seeking their views on how we can work together to build a safer community for Women & Girls

Location: The Harp & Fiddle, Railway Street, Street

Please note that registration is not necessary for this event. Just come along on the day.

Rory Carlin Memorial Fund Project - Strabane Academy

Some pictures and feedback from Year 9 pupils who have been completing our Emotional Wellbeing & Substance Misuse Programme.

This programme is delivered over 6 weeks and supports participants to learn more about different types of substances and how they affect our physical and emotional health & wellbeing , what to do in an emergency situations and what individuals can do if they are struggling with these issues, including sources of support.

Many thanks for everyone who has taken part and thanks also to Strabane Academy for their continued partnership as the programme finishes next week

We have a number of spaces remaining on our upcoming Nurturing Courage Programme

This programme aims to support parents & families to increase their knowledge, understanding skills to support Children & Young People who are experiencing high levels of anxiety.

Content Covered
What is Anxiety and where does it come from
How anxiety can present in Children & Young People
Exploring strategies of how to respond when Children & Young People are experiencing Anxiety
Local Support Services & Self-Care tips

Dates: 3rd March, 10th March, 24th March, 31st March
Time: 10am - 12 noon
Location: Training Room, Koram Centre
This programme is being delivered in partnership with the Koram Centre and GP Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) in Strabane
