Don’t overlook recovery.
Your workouts create the stimulus, but recovery is where progress actually happens.
Prioritize sleep (7–9 hours), eat enough protein and carbs to support muscle repair, stay hydrated, and don’t skip rest days. Light stretching, walking, or foam rolling can help manage soreness, but pain is a sign to slow down.
Training hard without recovering properly leads to burnout, stalled results, and injury. Be consistent, listen to your body, and remember: rest is part of the program.
