Last Sunday, we gathered together to share a beautiful morning working with the grounding energies of the Capricorn New Moon 🌚♑️

We embarked on a journey through several asanas (yoga postures) followed by a nourishing homemade breakfast when we connected as a collective to eachother. ✨️

As we rested & digested, we travelled through a Yoga Nidra focusing on intention setting moving into the new lunar cycle.

We finished with a slow-paced devotional Yin practice encouraging the body to release and the mind to slow down. By finding comfort in the discomfort of some of these intense Yin postures, we were training ourselves so off the mat, we can find ease through challenging times. 💪🏼

By finding balance in body-mind, we were able to cultivate a silence, deep from within us, to allow our soul consciousness to speak & guide us on this transformational journey that is life.

Earlier this year, I attended an introduction to Shamanism Course with Aldo from
This course allowed me to gain the skills & knowledge to facilitate various basic Shamanic
Journeys.
Shamanism works primarily with the heart (chakra) connecting us to Spirit and the feeling of love, allowing us to experience a way of being that is in harmony with all things & the universe ✨️

The Shamanic practices are very ancient practices and cover 4 different parts:
1- The Journey
2- Soul Retrival
3- Ancestral / Family Tree Healing
4- Past Life Healing

Retreat #2 ✨️

Huge thank you to everyone who came to support me on my 2nd retreat of the year, which took place at the start of October, the theme of the retreat was Autumnal focusing on releasing & letting go as the trees do their leaves 🍂

We took ourselves on a yoga journey through Movement, Meditation, and Nourishing Home-Cooked Food replenishing the Body-Mind-Spirit, having everyone leaving the space feeling rejuvenated and ready for the Autumn Season.

Winter Yoga Block ❄️

During the winter months, the body starts to tighten & get more tense in an attempt to keep us warm. Because of this seasonal change, it's very important to keep the body & mind flexible to maintain mobility and a peaceful state of mind ✨️

The run-up to Christmas can be a stressful time with many commitments and pressures so give yourself a weekly time out to revitalise & rejuvenate to deal with this time of year gracefully and fluidly 😌

Dharma in Action - Lombok, Indonesia 🇮🇩

"Dharma" is a term used commonly within those on the Yogic Path ✨️
It refers to our duties & responsibilities when being in this human form. 🤲
These duties are fulfilled in various stages starting with Self-Nourishment moving onto Family / Friends then the final stage is to serve the humanity as a collective whole.

I had a calling to nurture the humanity within an island in Indonesia called Lombok, so I headed over to serve in a boarding school for some time.
This was both a beautiful but also challenging Dharma to fulfil.
As you can see from the video in this post , the conditions of the school itself were shocking - the classrooms consisting of old desks & chairs - it was like stepping back in time. 🕘

The kids staying in the school didn't even have a proper bed to sleep in - they were simply sleeping on floor covers on a concrete base, no mattress. 😔 This I found emotional challenging even though I knew they knew no different.

Even though these kids didn't have much material, they still cultivated feelings of Joy & Happiness amongst themselves. 😁
This put things into perspective as to how little we truly really need to be happy & these feelings are cultivated from within oneself

While staying I also got to experience different cultural events and some sightseeing:
-The teacher I stayed with had a friend in the village who was getting married in which I was able to attend, for the occasion I wore Traditional Lombok Wedding Dress.
-I spectated a Local Stick Fight Competition when men & boys fight each other with solid sticks and 1 shield for protection
-Visited Kuta Beach, said to be one of the most beautiful beaches near Bali.
-Learnt how to weave from natural materials in Sage Village where the residents of the original Sasak Tribe of Lombok live, in their buffalo-dung floored wooden huts.

During my time of stay, I ate Traditional Lombok Food (extremely spicy) & stayed in basic accommodation consisting of a Small Wooden Hut with only a floor mattress. This minimalistic way of living allowed me to focus on what is truly valuable: our relationships with others, our experiences & our personal transformation 🌠
