International Men’s Day today. The gentlemen enjoyed a delicious chip shop lunch with a nice cold beer or glass of wine.

A massive thank you to everyone who participated in today’s Children in Need Bike Challenge!

We hit our target of 250km in the day and we doubled our donation target and raised over £500!!

Whether you did 1km or 30km, you all did an amazing job and every bit counts.

After a lovely Remembrance Day service today, Reverend. Craig from St. Andrew’s church in Shottery presented the GEM award to Clare.

Clare is part of the Lifestyle team who always goes the extra mile for residents and staff.

Clare will do anything for anyone and she hosted an amazing coffee morning for MacMillan Cancer support where she spent a lot of her free time baking delicious cakes.

Clare is a well loved member of the Ambleside team and thoroughly deserves this award.

This Friday (14th November) we will be undertaking our bike riding challenge for Children in Need.

We will have a bike on site and we are inviting you to come and join our staff and residents and have a go. the time slots are 15 - 30 minutes each and they are starting to fill up. Want to be involved please email dawn.brown@careuk.com and book your slot.
