🇮🇹 Mamma Mia! 🇮🇹

🍰 The UK's largest panettone will be served up tomorrow at the Stratford-upon-Avon Christmas Lights Switch On in aid of The Shakespeare Hospice!

⚖️ Weighing a whopping 20kg, it will be available from our friends at Marco Italian Deli.

💜 The giant panettone has been baked to celebrate the life of Sara Esposito, co-founder of Marco’s, who received compassionate support from The Shakespeare Hospice before her death in August this year.

🫴 Grab a slice if you're heading to tomorrow's event. Every slice sold will help fund vital hospice services in your community.

👋 Make sure you also say hello to our Hospice team, who will be based on Bridge Street, near the Christmas tree. 🎄

The giant festive cake, weighing a staggering 20kg, will be available from Marcos Italian Delicatessen during the Stratford Christmas Lights Switch-On on Saturday November 15.

🎄✨ A touch of Christmas sparkle filled our Hospice today! ✨🎄

Our patients and service users enjoyed a wonderfully festive wreath-making workshop, creating beautiful designs full of colour, scent and holiday cheer. The room was alive with laughter, chatter, and that lovely pine aroma that always means Christmas is near. 💜🌿

It was such a joyful way to welcome the season and spend time together making something special.

A heartfelt thank you to Emma and Evie Da Silva from Botley Floral Rooms for running the workshop and sharing their creativity, warmth, and kindness with us all. 💐

🎃👻 Half-Term Fun at The Shakespeare Hospice! 👻🎃

Last week, our Hospice was filled with energy, laughter and plenty of creativity as we welcomed 11 children from our Children & Family Support Service (CAFSS) for a fun-packed half-term session!

The day kicked off with an action-filled sports session led by Alex Barrow from Velocity Tennis 🎾 — think dodgeball, indoor tennis, and games that had everyone grinning from ear to ear.

After lunch, things got wonderfully spooky with Halloween crafts 👩‍🎨🎃 — the children made colourful lanterns and decorated biscuits (with plenty of icing taste-tests along the way!).

And to top it all off, the star of the show — Frank the Therapy Dog 🐾 — popped in with his owner Julie for some storytime snuggles and calm cuddles.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. 💜
