Have you got any old wellies, plastic mac's, thick socks or umbrellas you'd be willing to donate to The Barn? We're hoping to set up a "borrow box" in reception, so when people come to visit us they can have the opportunity to explore the amazing countryside around us..... With appropriate footwear 😉

If you have we'd be really grateful for them, they can be dropped off in Stratford or Brailes and we promise we'll give them a good home.

Say hello to Willow, she's the newest member of our team at The Barn and by gosh she's a cutie ❤️. From time to time you might see her around if you visit us both at The Barn and at Posture and Poise in Stratford so we want to let you know a few things about her...

Willow is currently only a (really) tiny little pup - she's three months old in this picture and she's unlikely to grow significantly bigger. She is a Cavapoo which means she sheds less than more traditional dog breeds and her breed are known for their easy going and friendly personalities.

We've always been animal friendly (it's hard not to be on a farm - anyone else remember the time the Buffalo tried to get in the yoga studio!) partially because we're animal lovers and partially because we recognize the mental health benefits that animals can provide. We hope that Willow will be a wonderful support to any clients who would benefit from her presence.

That being said we pride ourselves on our inclusivity and we recognize that dogs are not an option for everyone. Allergies, past experiences or even just not being a dog person can mean that the presence of a dog can make it difficult for some people and we don't ever want anyone to feel excluded from our services. So some words of reassurance:

🌿 Willow will never be allowed to approach you unless you have confirmed you are happy for her to do so.

🌿 Willow will never be left to roam freely and will always be supervised by one of our team or if not she will be in her crate.

🌿 Willow does not enter treatment space and, on the very rare occasion she might, to accompany a client who would prefer her to be there, the space is always cleaned thoroughly afterwards. Due to the nature of our work all our spaces are designed to be easy to clean with wipeable. surfaces and floors.

🌿 You can say "no" - If you do not want her there when you are there you can tell us that and she won't be there.

Willow won't be around all the time and potentially you'll never actually see her but we want to let you know just in case.
