Over the next few weeks a number of local GP practices will be contacting patients by text message with details of a digital tool called Phio.

The tool offers quick and easy access to dedicated physiotherapy support for people with muscle and joint problems, without the need for a GP appointment. The message, similar to the one below, will include a link to Phio.

A 64-year-old man in Canada who was left disfigured after a hunting accident has become the OLDEST person in the World to receive a FACE Transplant. Four months after the surgery, performed at Hospital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in Montreal, the man has regained the ability to breathe properly and has begun to chew, smell, and speak with his new face.

💛Happy Friday everyone💛

We are almost at the weekend 💛

This Sunday, I’m proud to be taking part in the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise vital funds for Scottish Women's Aid, a charity that provides safety, support, and hope for women and children escaping domestic abuse.

My walk also carries a deeper meaning. In the wake of the tragic murder of Phoenix Spencer Horn, we are reminded that far too many women’s lives are cut short by violence. Walking in her memory, and for all women who deserve to live free from fear, I hope to raise awareness as well as funds.

Every step matters — not just for me, but for the lives of women and families who need a lifeline. If you’re able, I would be so grateful for your support in helping me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can walk towards change, safety, and hope. 💛
