‼️Important Update - Co-codamol Shortage‼️

Co-codamol 30/500mg will become unavailable over the next few weeks, due to a national shortage.

We would advise patients to start gradually reducing this medication by one tablet per day, per week, to avoid side effect of stopping suddenly.

❗️Important Update: We are moving to Accurx❗️

From the 23rd March 2025, the GP practice will be moving on to an appointment system called Accurx. Accurx is a trusted NHS-approved platform designed to make communication between patients and practices easier and more efficient. This change will help us streamline requests and improve response times.
To book an appointment you submit a request through our website. A clinician will then respond to you and give you advice/arrange an appointment for you. The process remains simple and secure, and you can continue to access care in the same way.

1. What is Accurx?
Accurx is an NHS-approved digital tool that allows patients to submit medical or administrative requests online. It helps practices manage queries more effectively and ensures your information is handled securely.

2. Why are you changing to Accurx?
We are moving to Accurx to improve the patient experience and make it easier for you to contact us. The system is user-friendly, secure, and helps us respond to requests more quickly.

3. Will the process change for me?
Not much! You will still visit our website and submit your request online. The form may look slightly different, but the steps are very similar.

4. Is my information safe?
Yes. Accurx is fully compliant with NHS data protection standards and GDPR, ensuring your information is secure.

5. Do I need to download an app?
No. You can continue to use our website to submit requests. There is no need to download anything.
