Hey ladies!

I’m super excited to invite you to a special event I’m hosting on October 3rd at Curborough Community Centre
✨ Strong Through Menopause ✨

This empowering event is perfect for any woman navigating perimenopause or menopause who wants to better understand what’s happening in her body and take back control with confidence!

I (Silvie) will be diving into the physiological changes that happen during this stage of life, and how strength training and nutrition can help you feel stronger, more energised, and reduce symptoms. (Goodbye fragile bones and muscle loss!)

I have also invited Lauren, who’ll be talking all things pelvic floor health. Including how hormonal shifts affect it, and what you can do to improve it. (Yes, it is possible!)

Spaces are limited, so if this sounds like something you need…grab your spot now!

Scan the QR code on the poster to register, and if you have any questions, drop them below or message me on Instagram

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Last month I had the privilege to be invited to speak at The Whole Me conference about Menopause & Pelvic Health. What a fabulous experience sharing the stage with inspirational women and speakers. Thank you and for having me and to the brilliant audience for being so welcoming and engaging. Your openness and bravery sharing your own experiences no doubt helped so many others in attendance 🙏

🏋️‍♀️ DROP IT LIKE A SQUAT 🏋️‍♀️

Photographed for a recent client struggling with overactive pelvic floor muscles.

The doorway squat is a great place to take some deep diaphragmatic breaths and lengthen that pelvic floor! It can help ease pelvic tension, as well as improve pelvis mobility, help get the 💩 moving (especially when constipated) and even release trapped wind 💨

Why not give it a go?

MYTH: “I’ve been told Vaginismus is all in my head” 🙅‍♀️

Vaginismus is an involuntary tightening of the vaginal muscles in response to any type of vaginal pe*******on. Often those with vaginismus may experience difficulty inserting tampons or having penetrative in*******se. Although there are often emotional triggers to this reaction (such as previous experiences of pain during a medical examination or in*******se, a history of sexual abuse or fear of in*******se post-natally), vaginismus can cause significant discomfort which results in physical changes to the vaginal muscles over time.

MYTH: “I have Vaginismus so I will never be able to have pain-free sex” 🙅‍♀️

Wrong! Vaginismus is treatable and with the right support those who experience it can go on to have enjoyable penetrative in*******se.

🙋‍♀️ A pelvic health physiotherapist can help guide you through relaxation techniques, pelvic floor exercises and dilator training which give you greater control of your body with any vaginal pe*******on. They also offer manual therapy treatments to help restore flexibility in your vaginal muscles.

🧠 If you have significant emotional triggers you may also benefit from psychosexual counselling. A specialist will be able to listen to your story and help you to understand and manage your fears.

FACT: “Help is available through your GP or local pelvic health specialist” 🙏

Treatment is available at so please drop me a message if you are struggling!

This lovely client came to see me with chronic pelvic pain. Whilst she was awaiting a diagnostic procedure to confirm endometriosis, she wanted to know what else she could do to help improve her symptoms and quality of life.

We worked together on strategies she could use to reduce the tension in her overactive pelvic floor including breathing techniques/mindfulness, manual therapy and pelvic floor stretches. She showed a huge improvement after just one session! 👏

Women’s Health appointments are available for pelvic health issues throughout all stages of life. This includes pelvic pain, incontinence, overactive bladder, prolapse and pregnancy-related conditions. 💗 Get in touch to find out more!
