Flu Clinic Information.
Our flu clinics have started please note, this year the supplies of Flu Vaccine are limited and we cannot guarantee the vaccine will be available. The vaccines will be administered on a first come first served basis. Orders were based on last year’s flu uptake before the Pandemic started.
If you are eligible for a flu vaccine you can go to a chemist and have the flu vaccine for free.
This year the criteria to be eligible for a free flu vaccine are:
1) You are aged 65 and over on 31 March 2021,
2) Those who are pregnant, a flu vaccine should be offered by your midwife or at an antenatal/consultant appointment
3) Aged six months to 64 years in a clinical risk group (excluding patients aged two and three on 31 August 2020)
4) Aged 2 and 3 children these will need to be booked in our toddler flu clinic dates to be arranged shortly, your child will be sent an invite for these appointments
If you are not in the criteria DO NOT BOOK as we will not administer the vaccine, you will need to have it done privately this service is available at your local pharmacies.
Our next Over 65 WALK IN flu clinic is : Saturday 24th October 9am – 1pm (If you received a letter from the government and were previously shielding during lockdown please arrive between 9am-11am).
Our next at risk WALK IN flu clinic is : Saturday 7th November between 9am – 11am
Please only attend the walk in clinic if you have been invited via letter.
