Swimmer of the Week: Maggie! 💙

This little pocket rocket has been on such an amazing journey with us. Maggie came to Aqua Paws after having surgery on both of her back legs to help stabilise her knees. She’s been attending weekly sessions since August and the progress she’s made has been incredible!

With the support of our underwater treadmill and her dedicated mum, Maggie is like a brand new dog. She’s got her bounce back and can now play with her brothers again, something she really missed before starting her rehab 💛🐾

We are so proud of her and can’t wait to continue this journey together. Go Maggie! ✨

Meet Crumble! 🐾�

We support Crumble to manage her osteoarthritis and with the combination of hydrotherapy, massage and her lovely mum, she does amazingly well for her age 💖

She has the sweetest soul and Megan and Katie love the relaxing energy she brings to every session. We think she’s our therapy dog most of the time, she repays us with so much love and joy!

We love you, Crumble, big well done! 🐶

🎄 Important Update - Closing Hours & Cancellation Policy

Please note that we will be closed from 23rd December for Christmas and New Year. We will be back on Friday 2nd January and look forward to seeing you all then 🧡

Our cancellation policy will be strictly adhered to, so please ensure you notify us in advance if you are unable to attend your appointment. Movement of appointments in December will not be permitted unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Swimmer of the Week: Hattie! 💙

Beautiful Hattie has been visiting us for support following her femoral head and neck excision and what an incredible journey she’s had so far. With the help of our underwater treadmill and the support of Suffolk Animal Chiropractic & , she has made fantastic progress in her recovery 🌟

When Hattie first arrived, she was a very nervous girl, so we took everything at her own pace. Since September, her confidence has grown with every session. Now she comes in excited, ready to work and of course enjoy her cheese rewards 🧡

We are so proud of how far she has come and can’t wait to continue supporting her and her lovely mum on the rest of her rehab journey. Well done, Hattie! 🐾✨

Meet Ronnie!

We’ve been seeing Ronnie for over a year now and every session he gives his all in our underwater treadmill 🌟 He also loves to show off his tricks during rest breaks and his contagious smile lights up the room every single time 💙

Swimmer of the Week: Stanley! 💙

Stanley comes to us for support with his luxating patella and his progress has been absolutely incredible! From arriving with a fear of water to now acing 5 sets per session in our underwater treadmill and staying stable throughout, he’s truly shown what a superstar he is ✨

He is the sweetest boy and gives his all in every session, he is supported every week by his lovely mums who cheer him on throughout. He also enjoys his favourite snack (apple) which keeps him very motivated! 🐾💛

We always look forward to seeing that wiggly bum. We are so proud of you, Stanley! 🌟

Miss Darcy is back with her wardrobe chronicles!

She’s recently upgraded from a dinosaur to a highland cow and we’re absolutely loving her outfits week after week, all from the fabulous Cocopupuk ✨

Not only is her style on point, but she’s also doing amazing with the combination of underwater treadmill sessions and massage. Well done, beautiful girl! 🧡

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙

This week the swimmer of the week is…Finn🤩!! Finn has been attending regular hydrotherapy after being diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and osteoarthritis. Between his sessions in both the UWTM and the hydrotherapy pool, combined with careful pain management Finn has made amazing progress. He’s no longer lame, has even shed some weight, and is feeling so much more comfortable in himself. We still have a little way to go, but the difference so far has been life-changing for him. 🐾✨

Finn is one of the sweetest boys you’ll ever meet, we call him the soul dog🥹! He greets Meg every week with a happy wagging tail and immediate requests for tummy tickles. His confidence has grown so much over the months, and each session he finds just a little more, which is absolutely wonderful to witness.🧡

This week, showed fantastic enthusiasm in his pool session and even came off the platform all by himself, something he hasn’t felt confident enough to do before. Such a proud moment! 🌟

Well done, Finn you’re a little superstar!🐶🥰🤩🐾🧡💙

Meet Elsa! 💖

Elsa came in for a lovely swim a few weeks ago following her recovery from cancer. She absolutely loved every moment, and it was such a pleasure to see her looking so happy and well ✨

Happy 14th birthday to our little apprentice Milo🥳🩶

I adopted Milo 8 months ago and since then we have made so many beautiful memories. When I adopted him I promised him a retirement full of adventures and he’s having just that🥰 He’s been on holiday, kayaking, beach trips, pub trips, and made so many new friends🐾. He’s started regular hydrotherapy and clinical massages to help manage your arthritis which he’s benefitted so much from! He’s 4kg lighter and minus 16 teeth 🦷. When I first got Milo, he couldn’t even climb one step into the house from the garden… now he can climb multiple steps with ease, he can run, roll over and even jump up! Adopting Milo has been so rewarding and I’m so grateful he’s become a part of my life. Happy birthday my little buckaroo, here’s to living forever and continuing that retirement full of adventures! I love you so much little man❤️

SWIMMER OF THE WEEK🐾💙

This week the swimmer of the week is…Rolo🤩!! Rolo visits us for weight management following steroid treatment for an autoimmune condition. He rotates between our underwater treadmill and pool and we’re so proud to share that he’s already lost over 5 kg! 👏

Rolo comes every week with his wonderful parents and is always such a joy to have at Aqua Paws. He’s the sweetest boy and while he works hard in the water, he’s also very motivated by a tiny bit of his absolute favourite treat, cheese! 🧀 (Kept minimal of course to stay on track with his goals!)😋

Well done Rolo, you’re doing amazingly! See you soon sweet boy!🐶🥰🤩🐾🧡💙

In these videos, you’ll see each dog working through different ranges of motion. For many, land-based exercise can be tough, but hydrotherapy allows them to:
🐾 Burn energy
🐾 Release endorphins
🐾 Take the weight off sore joints

Unlike swimming in a river or the sea, our pool is heated to 28–32°C, helping to:
✨ Improve blood flow
✨ Warm muscles
✨ Ease pain and stiffness

We also use specific techniques to help dogs achieve a greater joint range of motion, this helps to build muscle mass and in turn improves their movement on land. 💪🐶

Not all dogs start out loving water, some of the dogs you see in the video weren’t always the most confident but with gentle guidance and going at their own pace, they soon feel safe and happy with us. 💕
