Life is a bit like a train station.

People arrive in our lives.
People leave.

Some stay for years.
Some are only there for a short stop along the way.

It’s been another busy and rewarding week in the therapy room at Suffolk Pranic Healing.

Over the past few days, 20 people came in for healing sessions, each with their own challenges and reasons for seeking support.

The range of conditions this week included COPD, emphysema, PTSD, depression, phobias, obsessive thoughts and behaviours, acute anxiety, hypertension, kidney issues, prolapse, piriformis pain, frequent UTIs and venous ulcers, among others.

Every session is different. Some people come for help with long-standing physical conditions, while others are dealing with emotional strain, anxiety or patterns of thinking that feel difficult to shift.

Pranic Healing works on balancing the body’s energy system, helping the body and mind return to a calmer and healthier state.

One of the most encouraging parts of the work is seeing people leave the therapy room feeling noticeably more relaxed and hopeful.

Many people who come to Pranic Healing are not looking for anything dramatic.

They simply want to feel better.

It might be ongoing anxiety, disrupted sleep, long-term health issues, stress that won’t settle, or a general feeling of being out of balance.

Often they have tried other approaches and are looking for something that supports them in a calm, structured way.

Pranic Healing is a non-touch therapy that works to restore balance in the body’s energy system. This system supports emotional wellbeing, mental clarity and the body’s natural healing processes. When it becomes disturbed through stress, illness or emotional strain, people can feel unsettled or depleted.

Sessions are gentle and professional. You remain fully clothed and seated comfortably. We begin with a short conversation, then the treatment itself is quiet and relaxing. Many clients report feeling noticeably calmer afterwards. Improvements often build steadily over a small number of sessions.

Sunday evenings often bring a quiet moment of reflection.

It’s in these quieter moments that many people notice how tired they truly feel — not just physically, but emotionally too.

What we carry emotionally has a real effect on the body. Stress, anxiety, grief and worry can gradually create energetic blockages which reduce the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Over time, this can show itself as pain, illness, fatigue, or a general sense of being out of balance.

Pranic Healing works gently and without touch to remove these blockages, allowing the natural flow of healing energy to return. As this happens, the body begins to repair itself in the way it was designed to do.

It works alongside traditional medical care, supporting and strengthening the body’s natural recovery. It is not a replacement for medical treatment, but a complementary approach which has even been explored within NHS settings with very encouraging outcomes.

Ending the week feeling very grateful here in the therapy room 💚

The week began by attending a UK Pranic Healing training course as part of ongoing CPD, helping to review and enhance advanced healing techniques. Continuous learning is so important to ensure clients always receive the highest standard of care.

It has then been a full and meaningful week offering Pranic Healing to clients seeking support with:

This weekend I’m attending an Advanced Pranic Healing class as part of my CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

Even though I’m already qualified in this level, it’s really valuable to return and review the class. Healing is something that benefits hugely from practice and gentle refinement and revisiting advanced techniques helps keep everything clear, confident and effective.

These classes are always a lovely opportunity to slow down and really focus on the foundations, while also deepening understanding. Often, small reminders or adjustments can make a big difference to how treatments flow and how clients respond.

It’s also a chance to spend time with other practitioners, share experiences and continue learning together, which is always supportive and inspiring.

Ongoing CPD is an important part of being a therapist, helping to make sure I’m offering the safest and best possible care to the people who trust me with their healing journey.

I’m really looking forward to a calm and enjoyable weekend of learning and reconnecting with these advanced techniques.

I wanted to share this review as it’s a helpful example of how people sometimes describe their experience of Pranic Healing.

Pranic Healing is a complementary practice that focuses on supporting the body’s natural ability to rebalance itself, particularly when stress is involved.

Everyone’s experience is individual and sessions can be carried out in person or at a distance.

Welcome to my page - Suffolk Reiki.

My name is Lorna Kruger and I have been practising Reiki for 2 years.

Reiki is a Japanese relaxation method that involves the transfer of energy through the practitioner’s hands. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words - Rei which means "Universal Life" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "universal life force energy." This type of healing started in the late 1800s in Japan and is now practiced across the world. Reiki energy is not based on belief, faith or suggestion.

Reiki is based on the idea that energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Reiki is shared by "laying on hands", it is non-invasive and no pressure or manipulation is involved. During a Reiki session, the client is fully clothed while comfortably reclining on a massage table in a relaxing environment.

Improving the flow of energy around the body can enable deep relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing, give a feeling of inner calm and contentment, increase energy levels and reduce other symptoms of illness.
