Back on 25th October we had our AGM and disco and we had a fabulous time ❤️

But first off a big thank you to Bridget for all her hard work setting up and making it a lovely night ❤️
Also thank you to Julie for helping out ❤️

Some of our members wanted to dress up for some extra fun 😍❤️
It was so lovely to get together outside of the pool and have a dance.

The sauge and chips from the chippy were delicious too 😍

Just a reminder that on Saturday at 5pm we are having our AGM ❤️

After the AGM the disco will start at 6pm with sausage and chips around 630.

Please let us know if you haven't already that you are coming so we have enough food for everyone.

We all had an amazing time at our yearly BBQ ❤️

A massive thank you to The Maldon Grey for giving a safe place for us to have our BBQ 😍❤️
Means the world to us and our members.
For some of our members happier on their feet it's a relief to know they are safe and can have some independence.

A big thank you for Amber Macey baking is more of her amazing cakes❤️😍
Super yummy as always! And this year she made us a gluten and dairy free cake! ❤️ For someone of our members that need it 😍
If anyone wants an amazing cake Amber is your lady ❤️

A big thank you to liz, her sister and brother in law for helping and making the tombola run smoothly 😍

Yesterday I was shown some old memories at our committee meeting.

I just had to share them as a few of our members in these photos are no longer with us 😥❤️

Most of these photos are of swimming galas that we did. The disability swimming galas aren't like they used to be 🙁 not as many groups take part now and there seems to be less and less funding for them which is such a shame.

Such precious memories ❤️

So just under a week until our sponsored walk on Friday the 18th April!

Meeting at the kingfisher at 10:15 and will be starting our walk at 10:30.

Don't forget to bring a pack lunch for when we get to melford country park ❤️

We look forward to seeing you and we are doing this to raise money for ferriers barn ❤️

Our second week of being back in the pool and it's so great to see all the happy faces.

I'm so proud of our lovely group and how inclusive it is❤️

One of our younger members held my hands and guided me into the shallow end to have a splash fight 🤣

And another one of our members decided after a year they wanted to give me hugs and no one else. I feel very honored 😍❤️

I love being there for our lovely members and feel very honored when they feel safe and chose to interact for me as that can be hard for some people with autism to do.

I definitely love seeing our members grow with confidence 😍❤️
