Words can not describe my gratitude and awe to for the most 3 incredible days in Berlin. A Gathering of Women + 1 Man ☺️ to learn, unlearn, witness and honour the ancestral wisdom of Birthkeepers, midwifes and all things womb related and so much more. What I felt was a home coming, a reconnecting to myself and my womb space. To honour myself Self and stand proud in my work in protecting traditional beliefs when it comes to maternity care. Pregnancy, Birth and Postnatal care is so much more than just a practical task. It is a rite of passage, a transition from woman into a mother, a journey of change and transition, moving forwards from what has been into the unknown. I feel so honoured to have sat with such beautiful and powerful women, indigenous to the contemporary. You have all truly moved something within me. I arrived with fluster, anxiety and awkwardness feeling like an outsider and came away feeling I had found my sisters and re-discovering my-Self. Thank you Charlotte for taking the initiative to create a most magnificent community of birth workers, explorers and protecting indigenous women of ancient practices. What I discovered, is that there are similarities to our traditional practices across nations, cultures and people and yet perhaps we are not so different after all. ✨ It’s September, and we are so excited to have launched our weekly Thursday Baby Grove group yesterday! ✨

It was so lovely connecting with new mums. 💕 The Baby Grove is for mums, run by doulas — with extensive skills in lactation support, postnatal support, wellness and more. We’re mums ourselves, and we’ve walked the talk.

💫 Wrapping up: Whilst mum was packing her things and putting her shoes on, little one was not too happy to wait in the buggy. With permission of course, I walked up, gently massaged those tiny feet to reassure her she was not on her own. Gentle strokes and a loving voice… and voilà — baby became calmer.

Never underestimate the power of touch. ☺️

✨ Stepping into a new chapter ✨

For the past 4 years, alongside my work as a Doula, I’ve had the honour of serving as a Council Director for The Reiki Association. Next weekend as I go to the Annual Reiki Gathering, my term will be coming to a close — but my journey with the Reiki Association doesn’t end here.

Instead, I’m sliding into a role that feels like a natural progression: the shoes of Editor-in-Chief of , the Reiki Association community magazine. 💫

Writing has always been a passion of mine, and my curiosity for people, cultures, and the stories that shape their lives continues to inspire me deeply. Together with a most beautiful Editorial and design team, we have already published two editions with me in the driver's seat. I feel excited to nurture this platform going forward, sharing voices, wisdom, and experiences from the heart of the Reiki community.
