My approach is integrative and relational, offering a supportive yet challenging space to explore, reflect and develop personally and professionally. I have a wealth of qualifications and experience in the following areas of therapy;

I am a trauma informed Therapist with a non pathologicalising and feminist perspective. Alongside being BACP registered, I am also a member of The Creative Counsellors Association, and have additional qualifications in play therapy. I am a member of the BACP ‘Children, Young People and Family’ division, and also the BACP Spiritual Division. I offer therapy from a tranquil, private room in my home or alternatively at an office in Chester Le Street. I also offer school drop ins for those schools that do not have the benefit of an employed school based counsellor. I work with children from 3 to 18 years old. About me! I’m friendly, compassionate, empathic, non judgemental and quirky! I have a warm and open approach and I love my job, there is no job I would rather do than to help others!
