Introducing H.E Therapy…

My name is Hannah. I’m a fully qualified and insured sports rehabilitation therapist.

I am currently working towards my masters in physiotherapy. Whilst on placement I have worked on a vast array of conditions in different areas such as the muscular-skeletal, neurological and cardiovascular-respiratory systems.

My interest and experience is in MSK with a background working with different clubs/organisations and learning from many professionals in the sports industry.

I have additional qualifications such as my L3 sports massage, acupuncture and dry needling, dry cupping and my L2 fitness instructor.

So what do I offer?

SCIATIC AND UPPER BACK PAIN

▪️Due to the clients job they are often in uncomfortable seating positions causing upper back pain. Today treatment consisted of massage and dry cupping.

▪️The client also received acupuncture 3 months ago for sciatic pain and has had no flair up till recently. So came to see me for a repeat session to keep on top of the pain.

Small intestine meridian acupuncture

Acupuncture along this meridian is used for;

- Posterior shoulder pain
- Rotator cuff issues
- Posterio-medial elbow pain

Tradition Chinese medicine (TCM) suggests this meridian is a Yang meridian. Acupuncture along a yang meridian treat pain, movement and power. Containing 19 points, the small intestine meridian starts from the little finger and progresses up through the arm, across the scapula and terminates on the face and ear.
