We are incredibly grateful to a local family who have kindly provided us with traditional Sikh head coverings to support future services.

These include both white coverings, reflecting traditional customs in India, and black coverings, which align with Western traditions of mourning and respect. Having these available allows us to ensure that, for Sikh funerals, every detail can be carried out with the dignity, understanding and cultural sensitivity it deserves.

At Jayne Prior Funeral Directors, we are proud to support families of all faiths and backgrounds. We understand how important it is to honour traditions properly, and we are committed to providing a service that is personal, respectful and tailored to each family we care for.

As a supporter of Washington Rotary Club, we would like to request support from our golfing followers for the Annual Charity Golf Day. The funds raised are used to support numerous charities and good causes.

A talented gentleman by the name of Richard Wojciechowski spent 77 hours recreating a photo of Jayne using tiny glass crystals. HIs patience is unmatched and the result is a stunning, shimmering piece of artwork which he recently presented to Jayne in our Hebburn funeral home. Thank you so much Richard for dedicating so much of your time to us.

Our office printer has decided that its had enough. Actually, it's the scanner - the printer works fine. The scanner works but inserts a large black shadow down the centre of the documents. We didnt want to send it to landfill as someone could probably make use of the printer - all it needs is ink. If anyone would like a free printer, please call into our Sunderland Funeral Home in Chester Road.

Passed away suddenly but peacefully on March 1st aged 56 years.

A much loved Son of June and the late Geordie.
Dad of Casey, Special Brother of Karen, a Dear Uncle, Nephew and Friend of many.

Family and friends please meet for service at South Shields Crematorium on Monday March 23rd at 9.45 am followed by interment at Jarrow Cemetery at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please.
Donations if so desired to a charity of the families choice.

Will be loved always and never forgotten.
