STOP SEPSIS SAVE LIVES
World Sepsis Day takes place on the 13th of September each year. This important awareness day aims to raise global awareness about sepsis, a life-threatening condition that arises when the body’s response to infection causes tissue damage, organ failure, or death. Sepsis can affect anyone, but it is particularly dangerous for the very young, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. Early recognition and prompt treatment are critical to improving outcomes for those affected by sepsis. It's the 2nd leading cause of death after cardiovascular disease, it affects millions globally each year.
