On this international women’s day we would like to give recognition to our mother Lynne Thompson.

We’re sure you will all agree that she has done an incredible job at raising her two boys and she is always there to support us behind the scenes, on occasion she can be spotted in the office giving it a quick once over with the hoover or making sure we’re well fed.

Thank you mother Lynne for all that you do.

Peacefully in hospital on 19th February, aged 93 years, George. Beloved husband of the late Mildred, much loved dad of Steve, Gary and Ian, father in law of Barbara, Sarah and Ashley, also a loving grandad. George will be greatly missed by all his loving family and friends. A private Cremation is to take place by request. Would friends and family please meet for a service of thanksgiving at The Stadium of Light, 76 yards Bar on Friday 27th March at 2pm. Suddenly at home on 16th February, aged 78 years, George. Dearly beloved husband, much loved dad, loving father in law, devoted grandad, also a dear brother, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. Would friends please meet for service in Sunderland Crematorium on Wednesday 11th March at 1pm. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The British Heart Foundation, a collection plate will be provided at the Crematorium.
