Happy Friday everyone 👋🩷
What a fantastic Friday it’s been here at Springfield….we started with seated fitness and music therapy this morning. Morning warm up exercises with our favourite tunes to set us up for the day ahead. Then outdoors for some sunshine, socialising and refreshments. There’s nothing better than getting your vitamin D while enjoying music and a nice cold glass of hydration juice after a workout class. A great morning of musical and keep fit fun 🤩.
1 to 1 time spent in the sunshine on our decking, reading a magazine, a cuppa, and some meaningful moments made it so relaxing!
This afternoon was our monthly “coffee & Cake” family and friends get together. Delicious lemon cake, cheesecake, tea and coffee for all to enjoy. It’s a great social get together for our residents, their friends, family and staff to enjoy each other’s company.
It's lovely to see everyone together sharing laughter and love ❤️
It’s now time to relax, put our feet up and chill after a wonderful week of therapies…… with Carole 👌🎼🦋🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🧁🎸🙋‍♀️

Happy St George’s day to you all.
We’ve marked the event with a morning service, coffee social get together, group quiz and 1 to 1 socials. We had interesting St George facts shared by our residents, then onto quiz questions to get us all involved as we enjoyed refreshments and delicious Victoria Sponge cake. A great morning with great company!!!
This afternoon was movie matinee time, the royals were today's choice, we sat back and tucked into ice-creams, feet up and chill Time....perfect! 👍
1 to 1 sessions for pampering and manicures were the choice today followed by hearts massages and a good old chat. With Carole 👋🍰🎼🎥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🥰

Wishing all our Springfield family and friends a wonderful Wednesday 👋. We’ve had a great day of socialising and relaxation therapy here. We’ve started with knit and natter group and book clubs. The ladies continued with their knitting projects, the needles were tapping and there was lots of nattering as we chatted about our events coming up and family news. We also had ladies and gents book club this morning, a choice of literature on sports, music, culture, reminiscence and one of our gents did a beautiful poetry reading for us all. A relaxing environment, soft music, teas, coffee and nibbles to enjoy….. perfect.
Then 1 to 1 read and reminisce, room social visits, and I did the rounds with the sweet treat trolley.
This afternoon we continued with 1 to 1 engagement, event preparation and movie matinee in the cinema.... With a visit from the usherette Betty. Well-being Wednesday at Springfield with Carole 🙋‍♀️👌🎥🍓🍰☕️🦋

A big hello from the Bee Beautiful Salon🐝. It has been a busy day doing colours, cut and blow waves and treatments today. Our residents had a professional VIP service and left their appointments feeling refresshed and beautiful!
