A big hello to all our Springfield friends 👋 we hope you’ve had a wonderful day!
It’s been a busy day socialising here, starting with an active morning session of 🏓 table tennis. Ladies and gents picked there teams and what a competition it was!! Great fun, team work and a few laughs, we had a fantastic morning.
1 to 1s today…. pet therapy with the lovely Teddy, room visits and sharing a “cuppa and a catch up”.
This afternoon while some of our residents relaxed and watched movies others participated in a cognitive group session of four in a row. Helping to improve problem solving skills, mental wellbeing and social interaction skills. All round great group interactive cognitive game! We then had a small group session with our dementia friendly jigsaws. They are designed for easy handling, making it possible for anyone with declining sight or cognition to participate. Another busy day enjoyed!

Valentines celebrations at Springfield 🩷
This morning while the gents relaxed watching a movie some of our ladies got busy preparing and decorating cakes for our party. What a fantastic job they did, icing and adding that special touch to make everything special for our dessert table. Thumbs up ladies… amazing cake creativity 🍰🧁

❤️love was in the air and we had the best day celebrating here at Springfield! A fabulous afternoon being entertained by Amber, our ladies and gents sang along, had a good old boogie and shared it all with friends. Followed by delicious food and drinks at our Valentine’s evening meal in beautiful surroundings!! An amazing day from start to finish.

Good evening to all our friends👋
As it was feel Good Friday we started with music therapy 🪇🪘🎼 and a fitness class. Boosting your energy with fresh fruits 🍊 and good hydration after a very fun musical workout, great session everyone!
1 to 1 beauty therapy, facials and a manicure in preparation for a day of love tomorrow.
🩷🎨This afternoon was time for some valentines creative crafts, beautiful centrepiece flower arrangements made, canvas art and personalised heart stepping stones. Amazing creativity pieces made👍. 1 to 1 room socials to share Springfield news and up and coming events.
Time now for movies, relaxation and get ready for a wonderful day tomorrow.

👋Hello everyone!
The poor weather made us change our plans today, staying indoors where it was dry and warm was opted for. Our gents had a lovely morning around the interaction table for a quiz, sports talk and some memory joggers. Then a delicious lunch, good company and some favourite tunes playing… perfect!
We relaxed and socialised this afternoon with book clubs and 1 to 1 room visits to engage in meaningful moments together👌

A big hello from all of us at Springfield 🙋‍♀️.
It has been a cold and wet day outdoors but warm and cosy indoors for all of us here. We’ve had a day socialising in ladies and gents clubs, coffee and conversation group and some artistic valentine's poster making.
Relaxation art therapy is certainly a great way of expressing our talents, enhancing mood and leaving our residents feeling re energised and fulfilled with some beautiful artwork to be proud of.
Time now to sit back, catch up with some tv, family time or simply chill!

Good evening to all our Springfield friends 👋 we hope you’ve had a wonderful day.
Meaningful Monday started with some active time, table tennis is definitely a great way of doing a morning warm up. Promoting eye and hand coordination as well as mobility and movement = social enjoyment! Great fun had by all.
Carole’s getting prepared for Saturdays valentines celebrations, decorations are up and our residents are looking forward to some live entertainment and a boogie on the dance floor and delicious food and drink menu.
We then had small group music around the piano, sing alongs, feel good reminiscence with some favourite musicians.
After lunch we got ready for prize bingo, our weekly session of eyes down for single lines and full house games. Lots of winners again today collecting their prizes, we love bingo!! We had movies showing in the cinema for our residents who want to relax🎥
1 to 1s on the interaction table, maintaining hobbies and interests. Today with Kathleen 👌🎼🎉
