Suddenly but peacefully on 19th January aged 97 years old, Joyce (nee Armitage) passed away surrounded by loved ones.
Loving wife of the late George, much loved mother of Judith and Keith, mother in law of Ken and Linda, a dear Nana to Steven, Helen, Daniel and Aimee. Great Nana to Chloe, Laiton, Elliott, Abbi, Riley, Logan, Noah and Jamie. Great Great Nana to Jorja, Thea, Lucas and Macie. Also a beloved sister, auntie and friend to many.

Passed peacefully at home on 15th January. Aged 90 years, Doreen (nee Rimmer). Loving wife of the late George, beloved mam of Carol, Paul, Tracey, Gary, Glen and the late George. Doreen was also a dear grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, mother-in-law and sister. Doreen will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral service to take place at Sunderland Crematorium on Wednesday 4th February at 3:30 pm. Family flowers only. Sadly passed away on Thursday 8th January 2026, aged 77 at the Marine Park View Care Home, South Shields. Carole will be greatly missed by her children, Samantha, Simon and Stephen and her Grandchildren, Anthony, Shannon, Stephen and Yasmin.
The funeral is going to be held at the Graveside on Friday 30th January 2026 at 13:15 - Boldon Cemetery, Dipe Lane, West Boldon, NE36 0PW.
