Well that’s all our staff fully trained in ‘Tier 2 Oliver McGowan Training on Learning Disability and Autism’

A big thank you to Sunderland People First Co-operative CIC who provided the best training.

The Oliver McGowan training is named after Oliver McGowan whose death shone a light on the need for Health and Social Care staff to have better training.

Westhome Care Services always ensure all staff are fully trained so we can provide the best care and support possible to our wonderful service users. 💚

Claire Race!

Claire is an absolute credit to Westhome and this is very much deserved!

Claire is always working hard and we just know how much her service users look forward to seeing her and are so thankful for her care and support.

She recently received a nomination from a service users family stating how attentive, caring, polite and patient she is. Not only does she attend to the service user but attends to the whole household.

Stephen has been here at Westhome for many years, and this is well overdue!

Stephen always puts 100% into everything he does – he means so much to all of his service users and goes way above and beyond for them. To provide such care to this level and to mean so much to everyone just shows what kind of amazing person he is.

We are so very thankful to have him working here and we appreciate all of his hard work and commitment.
