The 1:1 Diet - Scientifically based. Supported by research.

The history
The 1:1 Diet was founded by Dr Alan Howard way back in the 60's. He was one of the original pioneers of obesity research and founder of the International Journal of Obesity - who spent 50 years at the University of Cambridge, most of it researching and devising the optimum weight-loss diet.

Over the last 35 years, dozens of studies have been published on the core components to The 1:1 Diet; one-to-one support, products and Plan, consistently demonstrating their safety and efficacy. Check them out below:

Landmark Research on Diabetes
Recently, the DiRECT study, based upon our products and Plan, has changed the way doctors and dietitians all around the world think about the reversal of diabetes. You can read the full research here
Huge NHS Pilot Study Based Upon Our Plan

In fact, based upon the incredible results of DiRECT, the NHS and Diabetes UK have commissioned a pilot Type 2 diabetes remission study of 5000 patients.

Largest Ever Diabetes Prevention Study
Our products and Plan were also used successfully in the largest ever, multi-national study of diabetes prevention.
Study Subjects Keep Using The 1:1 Diet

All of the above studies resulted in over 10 kilos of weight loss and in the recent DROPLET weight-loss study, subjects again lost more than 10 kilos and improved multiple markers of health.

Subjects were so impressed with the diet plan, that 62% of them continued The 1:1 Diet at their own expense at the end of the study.

👩🏼‍🍳Loaded Paprika Chicken burger with an onion & garlic cloud bread bun💗
200 calories/Step 2😋

YOU’LL NEED:
•98g Skinless Chicken breast
•20g Button Mushrooms
•53g of salad

CLOUD BREAD:
•1 Egg
•31gQuark
•7g Shallots •1 Garlic clove

HOW TO MAKE:

•Season the chicken with Paprika and place in the oven.
•Finely chop the shallots and garlic and cook for around one minute in a pan with a little fry light. When done remove from heat. •Separate the egg white and yolk into two separate bowls.
Add the quark to the yolk and beat until smooth.
•Whisk the egg white until firm. Tip the bowl upside down to check the consistency is right.
•Gently fold the egg white mixture into the yolk.
•Using a spoon or nozzle & piping bag, transfer the mix to a baking tray covered with baking paper and a spray of fry light. You’ll need TWO portions out of this mix in total for the burger bun.
•On one of the portions sprinkle the Garlic and Shallots(This will be your top half of the bun)
•Place the cloud bread in the oven for around 25 minutes or until they are golden.
•meanwhile, cook your sliced mushrooms in a pan with garlic seasoning until soft.
•Once the cloud bread is done Remove it gently from the baking paper and build your burger😋

Enjoy!😋

Gorgeous Jennifer Jeffery lost an incredible 61.6kgs/9 st 10lbs!

"At end of October 2018 I was dangerously overweight and unhappy. I went on The 1:1 Diet and started on total meal replacement 1b 4 products per day.

By Christmas I’d dropped 3 stone and was feeling much better about my future.

After 12 weeks I stepped up to Step 2 of the diet which meant 1 low calorie meal of protein and veg and 3 products where I continued to lose weight and as I neared my goal I stepped up accordingly step 3, 4 and 5 and lost in total 61.6kgs/9 STONE 10lbs!

I maintained my weight well with regular exercise and healthy eating but 2021 proved to be a very challenging year.

I have gained some weight, and this has knocked my self-esteem. I’m quietly fighting back and working hard to be kind to myself.

Just remember when you think it’s all omuch just break it down, absolutely anything is possible and I’m proof of that!

YOU deserve wonderful health, now go get it 😁🙌🏻❤️

I will NEVER get over just how much more ALIVE I look now compared to when I started plan in January 2021 🤯

I look exactly how I felt, alone, numb, tired, depressed, lost....feelings I have luckily long left behind me...well except maybe tiredness but hey I have a toddler!!

I always approached this journey from an holistic approach, it can't just be about weightloss, it has to be about rediscovering yourself, what makes you happy and what you need to do to build a new loving relationship with yourself.

Because when you love yourself & care about yourself...it radiates from you ✨️

Date Night Takeaway Style Salt and Pepper Chicken - Step 2 and higher

This is our low-fat take on a popular Chinese dish. Instead of ordering a take-out, you can make your own really tasty version from scratch at home. There's even a veggie option in the recipe too.

Hands up who is now working from home permanently… 💻

And it is very easy to open the snacks cupboard whilst waiting for the kettle to boil without even realising we're doing it, and reaching for a nice choccy biccie to go with that cuppa.

Do that several times a day and we're soon on that slippery spiral of falling off plan and telling ourselves we can't do this!

Here are some top tips of how to stay on your diet plan whilst working from home:

1. Start the day off right.
1:1 porridges are not only yummy, but keep you feeling full for ages too!
2. Set times for moving around. Just because you are working from home doesn’t mean you must be chained to your desk for 8-9 hours a day!
Do some stretches, or go for a quick walk and fresh air around the block, your dog will love you for it!
3. Avoid buying high calorie snacks at the supermarket.
If they're not in your cupboards, you can't eat them!
4. Cut bars into smaller pieces. Cutting them into small bites will extend the time it takes to eat them, and so you will feel fuller quicker!
5. Drink water and stay hydrated. People can very often mistake thirst for hunger.
6. When you feel yourself heading towards the fridge, ask yourself, "Am I actually hungry, or just bored?"

You’ve got this!

The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan

Hi and thank you for visiting my Page.

My name is Shirley Ann and I am an independent Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant based in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire. From experience, I know how hard it is to take that first step but believe me, once done, you’ll be amazed at the results you can achieve.

From a very young age I suffered with my weight and up until a few years ago it was a situation I thought I would always have to contend with. I tried numerous diets, pills, injections, you name it and I tried it - even the cabbage diet was not off my radar.

I have always been active, enjoying exercise and keeping fit which helped to stabalise my weight, however, when a few years ago I had to have surgery and I was unable to exercise, my weight just seemed to increase overnight and I ended up feeling miserable and more than that annoyed with myself. At that point I realised that things had gone too far and I needed help to lose weight. I also realised that help would not come to me and that I had to be the one to make the first move.
