Hello everyone, I thought it was time for a little reintroduction! 🫶🏻
My name is Gemma, the face behind Perfectly You Spa, and here’s a quick background about me. I worked in Education for 6 years, (primary and secondary schools), and decided I needed a change in my life. I found holistic therapy and felt at home straight away!
I qualified in Level 3 Complementary Therapies in 2021. I received the best 1:1 training by an amazing team in Stokesley who I’m forever grateful to 🥰 since then, I’ve worked in spas and salons and met some beautiful people along the way - who’ve really helped me with my journey and training. It was daunting that I had a drastic career change and had not always worked in this industry. It made me more resilient to become a therapist of high standards and provide the best treatments I could give. To this day, I love that you’re always learning and growing as a therapist, developing new techniques, a forever evolving craft. People ask me if I would consider training in beauty? I’m definitely a Spa girl through and through! ✨️
I’m very lucky to always have amazing support from family and friends, especially from my husband Mark. We have a baby boy together, Marshall, who is our world 🩵 he is the main reason why I decided to work from home so I have more time to be with him.
I started my business after my maternity leave and opened Perfectly You Spa in April 2024 💚 we moved house in late 2025 so my workspace also moved. Thank you to everyone who continued to support me after the move!
I absolutely love what I do and always want to help people. I have been lucky to gain such incredible & loyal clients the past couple of years. It has been amazing meeting you all and starting new friendships 🥰 I’m always trying to work on my own well-being and feel so privileged to take care of others, helping you with your own self-care. It’s not just a massage, it’s doing SO much more than that 🤩
I feel it’s important to escape every now and then from whatever you have going on in life and to make time to look after yourself. I look forward to seeing you all in my little treatment room for a well deserved pamper 💆🏼♀️✨️
