Let's start the new year on a positive donation paid into St benidicts on Monday. Today I have transferred to Ivannas just give page (wasn't sure how to change the name so put a note so they know its from the coffee morning). Thank you all for supporting us to raise money for wonderful causes.
Charity we will be raising for next month is daft as a brush. I have a list of charities requested and will post a list and which month we will be raising for soon. Again thank you for being such a supportive community and looking forward to seeing you all in the new year.

Just want to say thank you to Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen for joining us today and letting us know what support they offer to the area and Sunderland and looking forward to them attending in the future.
I will be starting a collection for them and woukd be wonderful if people could donation the following items to support them.
Any tolietures from shower gels, tooth brushes sanitary products etc.
Food items any fresh or tinned as long as they are in date please.
Sleeping bags, blankets, winter coats ( these can be second hand but could these please be washed before donating as would not have time to before donating).
Drop me a message and I can collect where I can or you can bring them to the coffee morning. Anything big or small is appreciated thanks.

Yesterday we had Ellie attend the coffee morning from St benidicts hospice funding raising team. She has left us information leaflets on what the service offers and different events they have planned. Please let us know if you would like a leaflet or would like to order there Christmas cards which raises money for the charity x

As discussed in yesterday's coffee morning going forward we will now nominate different local charity's with our charity fund raising. From next week the nominated charity will be St Benidicts hospice until the end of October. As many know this is a charity very close to our hearts as they cared for my mam in her final weeks until her sad passing. I noted several other charities which our members are passionate about that were suggested and will post which and when we will be supporting them once I have worked this out.

I am so pleased that we as a community group have passed our goal once all money paid to FACT from our fundraising last year. I hope the money raised helps to support others experiencing cancer and their families as it did us.
